  1. Yeah, and I think they've played everything on the record except Leave Me Like You Found Me and Be Patient With Me (which Tweedy has done solo) at least once now. The new stuff will be worked in soon, they're not just going to keep going with the Ghost/YHF heavy set list forever, though sometimes it seems that way . But they continue to play the hell out of all of those songs so it's not like the gigs are getting too boring. --Mike
  2. There was just no way I could make it up for this... did anyone get the full setlist? --Mike
  3. It was you can hear a version almost identical to the More Like The Moon EP one on one of the wilco film bonus clips. I think Jorgensen probably helped them mix it, but the recording for the one was probably late 2000 early 2001. --Mike
  4. Interesting stuff, I'd love to hear these. --Mike
  5. Yes I am thrilled for you all that they are finally back in Australia and playing some full shows this time instead of just festivals. Have a blast . --Mike
  6. My first concert was this kid country band, Riders in the Sky, I saw them in Wheeling when I was like four or five. The first CD I got was the Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour when I was about twelve. It was all music all the time really from there on out. --Mike
  7. This gig looks intriguing I might try to make it for it. Saw them in Cincy at the Tall Stacks Festival last year and that was fantastic. --Mike
  8. And wasn't someone getting a SBD feed for this? --Mike
  9. "I don't know you well enough to know if that makes you a bad person. But it probably doesn't make you a good person." --Mike
  10. My personal favorites 1. 9.20.2003 Auditorium Theatre Chicago, IL 2. 11.14.2004 Paramount Theatre Oakland, CA 3. 4.21.1999 Irving Plaza New York, NY 4. 1.12.2003 Great Amercian Music Hall San Fransisco, CA 5. 7.4.2001 Grant Park Chicago, IL --Mike
  11. I'm pretty sure it's Misunderstood. I remember reading that they all swapped instruments for this song in the Kot book, I believe. --Mike
  12. Has anyone that replied to the e-mail gotten a confirmation that their order was upgraded? --Mike
  13. I prefer hearing it as the opener so then they can play Far Far Away right after it. --Mike
  14. Yeah what I wouldn't give to raid the tape library at the Loft. --Mike
  15. Yeah Nels's solo on that isn't anywhere near as intense as the live versions. --Mike
  16. On The Beach is it for me, that's one of my top 10 ever probably. Harvest, Harvest Moon, Rust Never Sleeps, Everybody Knows This Nowhere, Tonight's The Night and After The Goldrush are all great too. --Mike
  17. The Eels, Maalox and depression aren't fun either. --Mike
  18. 1. Muzzle of Bees 2. Poor Places 3. Jesus, Etc. 4. She's A Jar 5. Not For The Season (2002-2003 live version) --Mike
  19. They're going to be damn good next year, when they get O.J Mayo. He's an incredible talent from my neck of the woods. --Mike
  20. While it's unfortunate that I'm on the end of this, Sky Blue Sky is a damn good record to listen to in the midst of some lousy, but not devastating (that's where Summerteeth and Ghost come in) relationship stuff. I've had it on heavily all week. --Mike
  21. Yeah me too, everything fits together pretty well. --Mike

    wow

. I can hear bits of Summerteeth, Foxtrot and Ghost in it, and I love the live versions of this song, in the Bennett /Bach era. Excellent, excellent tune. --Mike
