I love John Prine, I think he's one of the greatest songwriters of all time easy....his music is priceless but are his concert tickets worth 50+ bucks?

this has to be the best release of the year so far....

I never gave to much credit to reviewers or critics. This review makes my point stronger, I guess i have to keep in mind that the guy wrote this review is the same guy who goes on VH1 and talkes about new photos of ______ (insert lame celebrity here).

Yeah I dunno I agree with Matt Z I don't think Mencia is funny but those jokes he was stealing were just incoherent observations. They are both just a bunch of nonsense. I just frown upon Rogan because he was so agressive and I just don't know what his motive is? What does he have to prove, I mean I don't think if I took a seven day seminar on how to deliver a persuasive speech I could convince anyone that his version of the man show didn't totally suck! I think Joe Rogan is just trying to be Bill Hicks or something of that nature when he couldn't shine Bill Hicks shoes. I don't really know

I would say Al has a shot I think his show was very funny and that he is a good interview. His books are 3 times more funny than his interviews, I just hope winning or losing the senate race doesn't cause him to loose his sense of humor

I recently started getting into to the national heavily after seeing their guitar player and glen do a collaboration in cincinnati mid last year. Their alligator cd and their self titled debuts are awesome. I was wondering if sad songs for dirty lovers is any good? I have never seen them discussed on this forum before. Are there any fans of theirs here?

Which member of wilco would you most like to join jeff on his solo tour, throwing out glenn and nels (they are awesome its just already been done). I see scott mccaughy is coming out for a few dates this tour, but I was thinking I would honestly like to see jeff and john. I know john doesn't play solo and he is really busy with the autumn defense tour but putting reality aside which member would you like to see join jeff on the road (solo) who hasn't yet?

yeah I expect it to be good, I really like this band a lot and I think their live shows are pretty awesome when I went to see them in Louisville Jim James, Two Tone Tommy and Patrick were all there from my morning jacket which was cool. It was cool getting to talk to all them and they recommended some byrds albums I should go get which I have and enjoy very much. The first time I heard there music was at an in store having not heard the album I think that seeing them live helped me to connect with their music and I can honestly say circles is probably one of the albums I listen to the most out

I know the new autumn defense album came out today although its rather early I didn't know if anyone had listened to it yet, I would have but I am broke. I was wondering if it is reminiscent of Cirles? which I thought was quite amazing Thanks
