what light? made a ryan adams/bryan adams joke and offered the opinion that ryan adams' new album easy tiger is just a ripoff of Gram Parsons, and mentioned how many cds he/she owns. Several of us of asked him/her repeatedly to offer some substance to back up the ryan adams/gram parsons claim, but what light? has yet to respond substantively. oh, and there's some issue with the amount of periods in what light?'s posts, which he/she has been using for over 10 years.

I think that folks here have mistakenly voted according to social norms, as opposed to rigidity or ease of use.

Maybe you could add to the discussion a bit if you would provide some evidence to back up your claim. For instance, why not list some or all of the tracks from Easy Tiger along with the GP song or style that you think has been "ripped off." So far all you've offered is the repetitive claim that Ryan Adams is a bad GP rip off. And a lot of periods.

I wouldn't have a problem with it, but then again I remember some douchebag turning his back to the band the whole night over a general admission issue. My point being that in every crowd there's going to be someone who thinks he/she is the "diehard" fan and that the rest of us are unworthy intruders, regardless of circumstance. If you showed up 5 minutes before the doors opened I think it would be a wholly different issue. And I have consistently found Edie's to be a voice of reason, even when contradicting myself, in answer to your other question.

when I was in a cover band in college I ended up purchasing some ridiculous digitech floorboard with practically every effect known to man. Getting rid of it a couple of years later and collecting stomp boxes was the best idea I ever had tone-wise and was surely a gift to anyone listening. cant stand them.
