  1. After playing guitar for awhile it begins to feel like most songs are built from the same blocks. I have been consistently surprised and pleased, learning Jeff's catalogue over the years, how many creative surprises he throws in, whether it's alternate timings, capo placement, creative chords or (in the case of this thread) linking chords together I've never or rarely encountered before.
  2. Baiting Lammy is against the rules my friend
  3. Hugging can run rampant during the holidays. Please warn your kids.
  4. Please Be Patient With Me is another beautiful one, picking-wise.
  5. On Saturday I had brisket, sausage, fried okra, beans and fresh peach cobbler at Stockyard BBQ bc of this thread. It was fantastic.
  6. One Wing has some fantastic transitions, good point. I never noticed it til I saw him play it solo (and very much prefer the solo version)
  7. there are many. Immediate stand-outs for me are: Radio Cure You Are My Face Hummingbird Poor Places Pieholden Suite
  8. Rising Red Lung and Shake It Off are 2 of Wilco's better songs.
  9. A number of people love telling others that they love Television's Marquee Moon more than they actually like Television's Marquee Moon.
  10. it's difficult to take someone seriously who writes like this. and then there's the truth that the author missed entirely (see the comments section): which is the amount actually made
  11. The radio stations definitely have their limitations, and I'm not sure the thumbs up/down system works at all. Still, some of them have yielded some great recommendations.
  12. Drums on Company in My Back are so perfect.

  14. It was clear from my earlier post (when I literally posed the question) that I was asking about how Spotify is more offensive to artists than the ubiquitous pirating of music and video all over the internet. If personal insults are the only feedback you have to offer that's fine, but they don't address the issue.
  15. there's no reason everyone can't get together anyway.
