I think I get where you're coming from, jff, but like Bosco I have to disagree. If a guitar player plays faster, than I can describe him as a faster player. If she is versed in a wider, more expansive world of chords and/or theory, then I can describe her as versed in a wider, more expansive world of chords and/or theory.
