Why is there such disappointment over Wilco(The Album)?
Atticus replied to realrival's topic in Just A Fan
very well done. -
no, he would have just layered beautiful melodies and harmonies on a range of perfectly-toned vintage instruments that would have added a great landscape over what is a fantastic set of chord changes.
-
holy crap would this be fun to see.

I still can't think of one.

just because New Orleans is endearing to some doesn't make it sacrosanct. I had some amazing times both in and out of the quarter in college, and the place will always have a sentimental value to me, but some people really don't care for the music, or the food. I enjoy the experience when I'm there, but if I had to listen to zydeco day in and day out I'd blow my fucking brains out. and don't hate on Jules. he was shived by a NOLA Katrina refugee for his kids' last miley cyrus cd. almost died. show some fucking respect.

I get a little sad every time some new news gets out about REM. Have ever since Green. Just lost the magic for me after that.

actually, no. sane people are capable of committing horrendous, unforgivable, unfathomable acts, but if it's an insane act, then it's an insane actor, however permanent or temporary.

new Iron & Wine - "Kiss Each Other Clean"
Atticus replied to okp greg's topic in Someone Else's Song
every new song I saw him play recently was stellar. I think the new album is going to be very strong. it's a great mix of instruments. -
john cale's version is my favorite, hands down.

I enjoyed that. sorry to let you down.

there is no G chord in that song. on the E (at "you wait around...") he starts with an E minor then shifts to E. these are names that come up for that funky chord. I can't help with naming chords, but I can play the song... F#m#5add12 F# Minor Sharp 5th Add 12th F#m#5add5 F# Minor Sharp 5th Add 5th DM7/F# D/F# Major 7th

liking Wilco is like a baby monkey riding backwards on a pig. now why don't you all shut the hell up.

let us know if you find a reverb solution. I've been playing this guy: for about 16 years, and have never even attempted to find a reverb that will run in front and sound good.

is this what you have? that looks like a fun toy.
