Yes it sucks, and no, they don't do this often if ever. I find it VERY hard to believe that there isn't a satisfactory explanation -- we just aren't privy to it at this time. The band and their management take all of this seriously -- it is their livliehood afterall. Trust me, the band cares a lot about it's fans.
