I went there but haven't stepped foot on the campus since I graduated like 20 years ago. I lived in an area about 1.5 miles away that at the time cost $350/mo for rent and now has $500K+ townhomes. Just check places along the CTA's blue line -- for a time I lived in Logan Sq and wicker park -- and you can't go wrong, really.

Gawd I hope so. They do seem to have quite a number of martinis though They just started playing at "Mary's Attic" which I hear is pretty cool. It's from 7-9 for those keeping score at home.

I loved the DLR-era Van Halen. Their first two or three records in the late 70s were terrific. Too bad they can't pull this off.
