I usually eat at Bittersweet which is a high class bakery/cafe for lunch on Saturdays (my karate dojo is down the street) and it rocks. I believe it is open in the early evenings. It's a block or two west of Sheffield on Belmont.

I highy recommend Winamp. You have the .flac file type associated with excel. You can change that (assuming you are using a PC) by clicking the following: my computer|tools|folder options|file types. The find the flac file type (extension) and associate it with Winamp.

The dates/locations do not work at all for me. They are midwest when I will be east, and south/east when I will be midwest. I will be patient however. Tapers, do not neglect your god-given duties and make some kick-ass recordings!

I don't think that jeff would have grown as an artist as part of UT nearly as much as he has with Wilco. And that has made the world a better place (for me). Also, in response to the other stuff in this thread, I have done a lot of very stupid things in my life, and I imagine Jeff has as well, as have us all. Those of us who are not famous do not have to deal with the many, many people who do not know the whole story, or even ourselves at all continually commenting on how stupid/lame/disingenuous we are.

Another one of these threads about something that happened so long ago. Frankly, I think the music world is better off with two bands instead of one. I don't think many people can argue that the sum of the parts > the whole.

I think that Lolla has rules around where else nearby within some set radius can be played within some set time frame, and I don't think that they would go for that. I'd rather have them play for, oh, I don't know, 7 nights straight at the Vic
