Please consider yourself invited! I will provide the eats/beer/wine, but the more the merrier, so please bring what you'd like. I am on the far northside -- a couple blocks from Evanston and not far from the CTA red line. PM me for address/directions. As a note, I am going to be out of town the first 10 days of February and pretty busy beforehand, so it may be a few days before I PM you the info! My a
  2. Jesus. That is me 100%. And I have also been told that I am very still and quiet. More SAB coincidences, Miss Chris
  3. I love the HOB in NOLA.... to have seen him there would have been double the fun. This whole tour has seemed so great; just sorry I could not get away....
  4. OMG!!!1!!! I am overwhelmed with love and admiration for you two. I cannot wait to have our next roadtrip -- it was easily one of my best times last year! The very happiest of birthdays to you both Love, Edie-kins

  6. I missed all of it. Can someone please provide the cliff notes version.
  7. I am a fan of Millionaire, Blasting Fonda, Magazine and Cars Can't Escape. I have been largely unable to get really into the various demos (though at least two of those were on the YHF Demos... go figure)
  8. I have been calling him "Muss Brentburger" for years.
  9. BTW, there is this cool invention called the Internet (made of tubes and stuff). From Wikipedia.org:
  10. Goose Island is a small island on the chicago river near north avenue, east of elston and west of halstead. If you drive east on Division from 94 to the lake, you cross over two bridges about 4 blocks apart. Between them is Goose Island.
  11. I would like to see soccer succeed in the US as vindication for my dad.
  12. I love how by post 6 we are already off topic When I go to visit my dad in CT, we often go to Foxwoods casino -- not to gamble, but to look at the museum and to gawk at the hugeness of the place. They make much of the fact that the Pequot tribe has done very well with its casino and that it really supports their living and education programs.
  13. I flew to LA to see them 5 weeks after I saw them in Chicago. Surely you too can hop a plane
  14. Congrats Froggie and the rest of the Aussie contingent. You are clearly the most patient of all us fans
  15. Anything you can do is appreciated. Thanks so much for sharing your incredible work.
  16. Jeff looks so.... satisfied in these pictures. Incredible work; please share more
  17. I used to get Vanity Fair but found I didn't have time to read it like I used to. Now I just pick it up at airports. Scott gets Modern Drummer
  18. Ummm maybe it would be if we weren't on a WILCO fan Web site
  19. Sorry; a bit late, but happy birthday Tom.... AND Brennan!!! YAY!
  20. We have some strange names in our family. My mother is Marion Strain, named after my grandmother My father is William Brainard Cutler (not sure who he was named after) My eldest brother was Ralph William, named after my grandfather on my dad's side (yet if he was going to be a girl, he would have been Grace) My sister is Clarissa Yantis, named after my aunt on my mother's side (and if she was a boy, she would have been Henry) My other brother is Stuart Yantis named after my grandfather on my mother's side (and if he was a girl, he would have been Ruth) My name is Edith Brainard, name
  21. Yes Sam Jones filmed it. The footage felt "claustrophobic" (nothing to do with the editing btw) according to one interview that was posted here some months ago. I would love to just get copies of all four shows....
  22. Others have said it better than I but thanks Kyle for the many hours you put in here - unpaid Then again, the rest of us also spend countless hours here; also unpaid. Just more.... entertained, hopefully
  23. Jesus. I wouldn't want to have to make that decision. In truth, they are the ones closest to the situation, and therefore are best able to be the judges. I don't know if I could do it, though. I am just glad that they had to get approval from a 40 person ethics committee before they could go ahead. EDIT: I didn't/won't vote.
  24. The Big Easy -- three times in two weeks in 1985 (I think) Dennis Quaid.... *sigh*
