When was the last time you listened to a Wilco album start to finish?
Edie replied to tongue-tied's topic in Just A Fan
Can't remember the last time I listened to a studio album but it would have been AGIB. I listen to live shows start-finish all the time though. -
Add Kicking TV and the two Mermaid Aves to Being There and you are set.

Thanks to Rich, (tv200), I was in the 4th row of the pit. Last night's show was so much fun; the band seemed sooo into it and happy. Jeff appeared to me to be a bit tight early on with the banter (not musically) but even that loosened up considerably as the show went on. I loved the new material; last night was the first time that I really enjoyed Impossible Germany after seeing it 4 times or so live. Guess the 4th time was the charm. The new song from last night (Shake it Off) was also much better in the middle of the set list as opposed to an opener as it was Friday (a bold move to be sur

Nice to meet you! Actually, it was more the people closer to the front. I am pretty sure that the band can only really see into the crowd 10 or so rows, and *many* peeps there seemed to be observers. I could be totally wrong; this was my impression. I do know that Jeff has said he prefers to have people singing (dancing is prolly a secondary thing) because he feeds off the energy..... Edie No smoking anywhere in the venue (I believe) and cameras/kameras (no video) are fine

After seeing them twice last month from the first row, I thought that I might feel a little "meh" about yet another show being that I was about 20 rows back. Boy was I wrong. This was a terrific show -- one of the best I have seen. The song selection was excellent, and I thought that I might have a complete coronary when I recognized Sunken Treasure which is easily in my top 3 Wilco songs. I loved the full band, rockin' version; much more guitar oriented than any that I have heard. I guess the one thing about it I missed was Jeff's soaring vocals that he does when he plays it solo. If he eve

Is this really real? What is wrong with this picture: FOX news is the platform for conservative pundits to complain about how poor TV ruins lives and degrades our society. FOX TV puts "programming" on like this as prime time entertainment FOX news complains about the poor programming that people watch in prime time as if it is the people's fault that they are watching poor programming.
