  1. JAZZ FEST -- NEW ORLEANS! Would definitely try to make this.
  2. Damn I am out of it. Give it up you guys!
  3. Told me I was male... but whom ever it is hasn't seen me naked recently.
  4. Bumpity bump bump.... We are less than 2 weeks away
  5. Thank you Judy. I knew I could count on you I think that while his voice is not at all perfect, he has a way of singing that is singular and memorable. I would take his singing over anyone who might have a "better" voice.
  6. To me, it lacked the urgency of the original.
  7. I heard this on a commercial last night -- muzac-ized and performed by a woman -- and I cannot recall the product. I do recall being more than a little sad.....
  8. Webcastic! Hope to join.... at least for a while.

    OMG

See, in when I was young, cadillacs were the car of old men. This is different than cruise lines (which didn't become more popular until later). Sheesh.

    OMG

I didn't say he didn't -- 'cause of course he does; I am the first to defend the right of musicians to make a living -- but... it is somehow surreal that a guy that has writhed on broken glass onstage is selling the preferred vehicle of our fathers.

    OMG

Anyone else find this rather disturbing? Though I love the song and images, it's just.... wrong
  14. Amen brother. Walken, that was a rather asinine comment.
  15. Damn. I have been following this story for months and am just heartbroken. What a courageous animal. Full story
  16. In My Life - Beatles. It's probably the best song ever written and recorded by it's writer. I love everything about it; incredible lyrics, wonderful music and instrumentation. and a very close second is Take me to the River -- Al Green for the same reasons.
  17. Glenn has an article in March's Modern Drummer mag about glueing coins to his brushes and making mallets out of superballs cut in half. True story.
  18. This is beginning to have all the earmarks of a VC SUMMIT! I encourage you all to come, near and far I will say that I do not have the ability to have anyone else stay here, but there may be others who can accomodate and can relieve that part of the financial strain. PM me or post if you need accomodations or can provide them.
  19. You have a lot of balls to come on here and admit it. Hopefully it can be edited out.
  20. Me too..... It's also one of my favorite, um, positions if you catch my drift
