Anyone else getting a server error?

22 songs is mostly what they have been playing. The whole "leave the stage and come back" is kinda cat and mouse anyway since we and they both know they'll come back at least once. If they were laboring under a time thing, they did the audience a favor by skipping the second encore break. I usually don't yell for them at encore time; I save up my energy and voice for the post song applause

I appreciate the clairfication directly from the band. The story that Pitchfork published was shoddy reporting at best, and slander at worst. I hope that this is my last post on the subject.

That's even more fucked up. I saw your friend; I was watching her beaming while Jeff was singing Hummingbird to her. A beautiful moment. I chatted with her briefly while the security folks were finally figuring out how to get her ticket for her. I hope she enjoyed the show in spite of the crazy behavior. And the smoking? People were using the STAGE as an ashtray. Very ugly, IMHO.

I was offered rows Q and O and turned them down. I am way too spoiled.

I loved this show. After the Springfield one, I am trying to "get back" to that moment in time.... Here are some highlights: 1. Jeff did not address the audience until after "shot" (which was blistering -- loved the red lights affects). When he did, he apologized that he had missed the "check in" notation on the set list after the 2nd song. Hilarious banter ensued. 2. Walken is now fully formed, and grown up after about a year of performing it live. I love that song. 3. 48 nothings took well over a minute of time to perform, and was one of those perfect times when the audience and art

I am going to make this quick. Just got home from a TERRIFIC weekend with my best Wilco runnin' girls, Chris and Donna. When we go to see shows, we all pay for the privilige of seeing the artists play. The same can be said for going to a museum to see art/history, or to a ballgame. There is a trust that exists between the artist and the voyuers that in this case was violated twice when people who did not belong inserted themselves into the show. While the band gamely did their best at restoring the balance, the show was just not the same after these incidents. Security was sadly lackin
