  1. hi all, in the best interest of jeff and other members of wilco, i think this topic should be closed. if magazines are quoting fan boards, who knows what lawyers will do if this nut is looking for some kind of compensation. we do live in a litigious society. this guy probably has already had several lawyers contact him about suing wilco, jeff and the venue. i am asking that we, wilco fans, put this incident behind us and only speak of how WILCO IS THE GREATEST FUCKING ROCK-N-ROLL BAND IN THE WORLD.
  2. jeff is looking so good! the audience is too. great photos. thanks for sharing.
  3. While doing some research for work, I found this interesting article that applied to you. This guy tried to quit too, but came back after only a year. If this guy can serve Wilco for 54 years, so can you! Wilco board secretary retires after 54 years Wichita Business Journal - September 29, 2006 by Ken Vandruff For more than 54 years, Ted Barnes got up each day and went to work at Wilco Inc. On Friday, he called it a career. Barnes, 74, retired from his job as senior salesman and secretary of the board of directors for Wilco, a Wichita-based aviation parts and materials distributor

  8. He played Tropical Heatwave in Tampa, FL back in May and during the performance he said they had never played the SE before. They absolutely stole the festival. The stage they played is called the "cantina", it is the basement of an old cigar factory. The most awesome acoustics because of all of the tile. Anyway, there were people literally hanging on (like in a subway) to hold their spot because the cantina was over capacity. It was an incredible performance. LouieB, i would love to go to the double door and meet you, but I live too far away. I will just have to live vicariously thr

  20. Hi, thanks for all of the information. This is why I love VCer's so much. Although the move is not 100% certain, the company is flying me up in September to take a look around the Chicago area and the HR department is putting together a neighborhood study and a Realtor to help me out. When I posted I wanted some honest opinions, as opposed to some generic numbers in a packet of information. As I am coming from the suburbs, I would like to live in the city of Chicago, ideally in a loft-style apartment, in an area where I can walk to parks, the zoo, museums, etc. and a good (montessori?) scho
