Glenn's awesome on Radio Cure.

Yeah, I kept getting signed out for security purposes. Luckily, the venue that I plan to go to is usually slow to sell out even for pretty popular acts. The only problem is I have a weekly meeting when tix go on sale on Friday. Might have to take a half day just to secure tickets. Blah! Anyone else seeing them in Clearwater, FL? Have any luck with presale?

I completed a personal goal for this decade!

I'm training to run the Georgia Marathon in March and I haven't fucked up my training schedule yet. So that's something. Running 8 miles tomorrow. -
Dale's Pale Ale is choice #1 for me and also a big fan of Dogfish, but sometimes there's nothing like a Budweiser and a shot of tequila or whiskey. Also, I have no problem bringing beer to a party with free beer or having someone show up with a six pack of their favorite brand if I'm providing beer. You can't really force anyone to eat or drink something.

I was at that same show. I was on the 300s but didn't mind because the screens were really great. I was quite surprised. Never been that big of a U2 fan or a fan of seeing shows in stadiums but this was one of the best shows I ever saw. The band's sound is made for large venues and the large crowd singing along was euphoric.

tampabay.com (St Pete Times website, I work there) nytimes.com NPR on the way to and from work (it's a 10 minute drive so I don't get much) The Daily Show and The Colbert Report Facebook.com (npr's feed on facebook is really good) ajc.com and mlbtraderumors.com for baseball info

Went home for lunch to get headphones and forget the headphones!!!!! (the Amy's enchilada was good, though). And there's too many people in the office right now to crank it.

I don't know about a country album, but I would like to hear some songs with something close to traditional bluegrass instrumentation. I've been listening to Elvis Costello's latest a lot and I really like that sound. Nels on Dobro, Pat on mandolin, John on upright bass, Jeff on acoustic guitar, Mike on acoustic piano, Glenn on a simple set up of bass/snare/hi-hat, Andrew Bird on fiddle.

This is extremely disturbing. I hope Walt Disney's okay.

I didn't make myself clear. I personally don't care about anybody's personal life when it come to their job (of course there are some limitations, such as murder and such). I was referring to Eliot Spitzer. The main thing that upset me about Spitzer's adultery is that he went after prostitution rings and got himself real high on the success of that. That's not right. Letterman's not laying down the moral code, he's making us laugh. There's a difference.

Exactly. He's only saying something because he was getting blackmailed and now he has to testify. As far as a double standard of him telling jokes making fun of people involved in adultry, he's a comedian not an attorney general. Whatever he does in his private life, doesn't really matter. The bit about the fake $2 million check is great.

I like Band on the Run & Lola versus Powerman and the Moneygoround, Part One as choices but my top choice would have to be Crooked Rain Crooked Rain.

I remember hearing that first appearance live while I was driving on a road trip. Nels tore apart Muzzle of Bees. Good times.

I like Cold Roses, Jacksonville City Nights, and Easy Tiger. Cold Roses is one of my fave records of all time. Also, this video doesn't bother me at all and when I first saw it thought it was kind of funny.

Totally agree with all of this. Great version of Hell Is Chrome. Also, I believe that they did release the Theologians as a b side to sumthin.

They are such a great show. If you want a tease, I've seen a bunch of live clips on youtube and their recent performance on fallon was really good. Played The Ark off of Fate. Gonna listen to Easy Beat tonight. It's been a couple years, need to listen again to that one before I can pick one.
