  1. When I first saw this it was presented as a viral video advertisement. I thought it was pretty funny. Bitch better be in on the Arreseted Development movie.
  2. Glavine to Braves is done. In future news, Tommy Hanson pitches a perfect game against the Philadelphia Phillies. Cole Hamels shits his pants in the first inning and has to go home.
  3. Completely subjective choice for post hiatus (wouldn't every choice be subjective), and I haven't heard a recording of this yet but I would have to go with the 20th Anniversary show in Boston. I saw that entire 4 show tour. They brought a guest the first three nights. Night 1: The Dude of Life. Night 2: Tom Marshall. Night 3: Jeff-Fucking-Holdsworth. For Night 4 They played a slideshow of images from their entire career during setbreak. Not all of those shows were good. The first night in nassau had some god awful moments, but they had a lot of fun. I just remember watching them that last nigh
  4. I couldn't care less about them also. What is important? Animal Collective is doing the stuff that I'm most excited about today, but not a lot of people have heard of them.

    One Song

I'm sure it could mean a lot of things, but I remember reading it's something like a love song sung from the point of view of insect. I can see that.
  6. I listened to Mahavishnu Orchestra when I had my wisdom teeth taken out. That was pretty rad.
  7. Well, I'm going to see them in June. They are going to be getting a lot of scrutiny in Hampton. If they get bad reviews hopefully they'll get their act together and practice non-stop for 2 months. It would be horrible if their reunion tour puts the nail in their coffin. Because if they're sloppy I really never want to see them again. It just ruins the memories.
  8. I heard it. Basement comparison is pretty good. It's pretty much wanking. A few good moments but pretty uninspired. I actually really liked the Siket Disc. This is what 6 or 7 years old now. Hopefully these guys have been practicing.
  9. Im thinking the same thing. The record didn't really grab me, but I LOVED the live show. Hopefully now that they've been together for a while, the band will change his direction a little.
  10. The Beatles or Bob Dylan. There's very few that I would call important, as in having a profound effect on the majority of Americans and changing the future in a broader context than just music.
  11. Happy Birthday: Bob Weaver Norton Charlton Heston Tubbs the Beast Boy Sneezeblood Eyeball The Yo Yo Ma of Vacuum Cleaners Moses Yastrzemski Hankrietta The Hardest Man in Show Business Sammy Hagar the Horrible Horn Section
  12. Maybe with photoshop, but it might get too grainy. It's from the soundstage site: http://www.pbs.org/wttw/soundstage/wilsoy/setlist.htm
  13. It may be too late to save this from becoming the Blu Ray thread so I'll post this query anyway: Can Blu Ray hold information other than movies, like DVD's do, so I can save files on them? Can you buy Blu Ray burners or is it that why the technology is so expensive still?
  14. This is already in SES. But thanks; I still haven't listened to it.
  15. It's been a long time since I've heard it but you could say it's Springsteen-ish, no?
  16. Misunderstanding. I meant the word "Blu Ray" looks like the word "LaserDisc" if you're illiterate. Really bad joke I guess. I definitely agree it's viable or at the least too soon to say dead.
  17. I thought all he did was Tic-Tacs. Griffey will platoon in left with Diaz. They have a young center fielder that's out of options and can also steal bases. But Griffey/Diaz should be good. Diaz is really good against lefties and Griffey is still good against righties. Plus Griffey was basically playing injured last year and has since had surgery so who knows. He hit 30 HR's in 2007. I'd be happy with similar production. That's more than the entire Braves outfield hit last year.
  18. That one sounds a lot different, btw. More rockin'.
