I've been noticing lately that shows around here aren't really selling out. When they do, it's usually within a week or so of the event, not right when tickets go on sale.

If you're going to interpret things, you should understand that there's always plenty of room for you to MISinterpret what people say, think and do.

I really like this band. I just discovered them in the past month...downloaded everything I could and I'll probably go and buy some of it when I get a job. Wish they were coming somewhere closer to my city than Chicago. Guess I'll see them on Conan tonight! My DL spree included a copy of the aforementioned album. Mershon is a big auditorium and it is wide. There's really not a bad seat in the house sound-wise. View, obviously, the closer the better, but you'll be fine on the public sale....

I have a friend who is affected by music in a similar way as that boy said he is. Though instead of the Beatles, my friend had to stop listening to NIN and Smashing Pumpkins to get his wits about him. The reset of my comments about this article, I'll keep to myself.

I not nearly as qualified as Leo on the subject, but I agree with him. I do believe that our society is quick to prescribe meds to solve health issues. (and no, I don't think its some scam by the drug companies) In extreme cases, medication can be helpful to people suffering from psychological illness, but I think in a lot of cases, there are better ways to treat such things. I started driving when I was 15 but didn't get properly motivated to get my license until I was 20 or 21. I hate driving and probably shouldn't be allowed to do so simply because of how annoyed I get with other people on the road. And I know I'm not the best driver in the world, but it seems to me like there are a lot out there who are much worse.

My freshman/sophomore year roommate was from Ketchikan, AK. His pictures were always beautiful, so I'd recommend that, but it's an island, not part of the mainland, where it looks like you'll be spending a lot of your time.

Amen. I'm really into this band, A Fine Frenzy, the lead singer is beautiful with a voice to match. Also, the New Pornographers latests, Challengers, is pretty awesome.
