  2. like i said, if you guys dig harwire you should really check out red dust rising. definitely their best effort to date. glad to see that their name is out getting out there.
  3. anyone listen to these guys? they have been a local hit around here for a while now but with all the press for their latest record, harwire healing, i thought that some of yall might have been turned on. Hardwire healing is pretty good but not quite as good as red dust rising.
  4. Flagpole has word that, although the ink's still drying on the contracts, the Drive-By Truckers are scheduling a three-night stint at the Melting Point on Apr. 26, 27 and 28. That's six days of shows from two bands with rabid fans! The Trucker shows will be mainly acoustic affairs and will kick off the band's "The Dirt Underneath" tour; tickets aren't on sale yet, but will surely go fast. Anyone know anything more about this dirt underneath tour?

  9. yeah, not really sure. i was told it was certain indie stores and not so much the big box stores, there is nothing on there site about this. i figure that it can't be too selective since the oz music here in tuscaloosa had the package with the bonus dvd.
  10. i thought that i remembered that being the rule. offer still stands for the pm.
  11. at select stores the dvd will include a bonus acoustic performance dvd. not sure what the rule about posting things in the forum is, but if anyone wants a sendspace link to the tracks send me a pm or tell me its alright to post here.

  15. i remember some discussion of this album here before it came out. just listened to it in its entirety for the first time last night. i thought that it was generally pretty good, not much different from dando's other stuff but nice to see him coming out with some new music.
  16. no offense taken here. they certainly do bring the METAL live but i think that their discs are great as well. As far as Decoration Day goes, i think it's a great record. Check out Southern Rock Opera and The Dirty South, although it sounds like they just might not suit your ear.
