I heard something from the album before this that sounded cool, but this song sounds like a Pepsi commercial.

It's ok. You won't have to buy it if you don't want to. -
Yeah, Denver sports have a sudden interest in breakable, aging, greats, throwing things..... well.

Wait a minute, corporations should get tax breaks because it's dumb for Americans to think things are free? Or You shouldn't insist the government close tax loop holes because the corporations qualified for them? Those arguments don't look very good.
-
Mitt Romney is against people getting free birth control, but he likes getting free tax breaks on his mammoth income. edit: kevin, we're thinking the same here. simultaneous post.

This is really good. -
Dude, no need to feel weird about it. There is so much god damned amazing music that is already out, and coming out every year- you shouldn't ever feel bad for ignoring your favorite band for a month or two.

This is just an update of an executive order made 15 years ago. It doesn't change anything. Calling it "Obama's new executive order" is almost an outright lie. "In fact, that’s almost entirely what it is. The original EO dealing with national defense resources preparedness was issued in 1939 (EO 8248) according to the National Archives. It has been superseded a number of times, starting in 1951 by nearly every President through Bill Clinton, and amended twice by George W. Bush."

A four year doomsday prediction- similar revelations were made when he was inaugurated. If you believe those articles that we're headed for martial law you're bonkers. Too many episodes of Coast to Coast. You decry the false choice element of our two party system, while championing someone running for the GOP ticket. If what you say is true, I'm sure he's already compromised.
-
No, you're just championing someone who you comfortably know will never win. That way you won't be put to task, you can just sit back and say "I told you so." Keep cutting and pasting man, feels good to be right and do nothing.

That qualification reduces your falacy by at least 80%. I am predicitng that more kids would die in a Romney administration, than an Obama one. There's nothing an imaginary vote for an unelectable candidate can do to change that fact. Until the critics of our limited 2 party system pony up an effective way to reform it, it's all pretentious arm chair finger pointing.
-
So NATO botches a no knock raid, kills some innocent people and you say "Obama has killed dozens of children"? I would be careful about where the finger points, in terms of fallacies.

Go Rockies! We've got a lot of fresh faces, but still some of our favorites: Helton, Tulowitzki.

There are lies, and there is selective truth. One is fraud, the other is bias. I'm seeing the latter.

I can think of no more balanced place to find unbiased economic ponderings than a website called: the economic collapse blog. I think they have a mission to communicate something. They probably get irritated when people point at any sign of improvement.

I bought the double vinyl + mp3 download. This thing was good at first, but I'd say it's a grower.... it's great. Beautiful hour of music.

Obama represents the most viable candidate who has some restraint in regards to the military and also seems to have some ambition for this country collectively building its infrastructure (energy, transportation, health care etc.) I'm cynical enough to know that he's either willfuly or reluctantly allowed certain influences to eclipse his once pure ideals, but I still believe that he is a man of principal. He picks his battles.
-
Me too.

I think this is a fair criticism. Part of what keeps me coming back is in spite of the sameness of his sound, there is no one else on earth who sounds like him. Everything he's done since The Mysterious Production of Eggs is of such high quality. Well thought out, well crafted. I do think the duet, and the Afropop flourishes on this album make it sound quite a bit different than Armchair or Noble Beast.

Every nation crumbles... eventually. In the mean time, the decisions the people of a democracy make effect the lives of everyone in the country and in the case of a super power like the U.S. other people around the world. From another solar system this is all irrelevant, but for me right now, the level of aggression in our foreign policy and the support for social services is extremely relevant. For this reason I participate in our democracy by having discussions and voting in a manner that I calculate will have the best cost/benefit ratio. I don't mean to lecture, but election season ha
