Absolutely true. Whether you like her music or not Joanie still represents the best of the long-lost '60's idealism imo. Not to mention she was hooked up for a time (early '80's ) w/ Mickey Hart.

I do believe you are correct sir regarding CSNY. In regards to the Stones/Dead debate...The Stones (I'm not gonna look this up) toured in '72, '75, '78, '81,'89, '94...6 major tours in over 20 years. The Dead toured every year in that time (except '75) and averaged 75-100 shows per year. My guess is it would be REAL close, but the Dead might just get the nod.

All I can say is I'm glad I have never heard either of the songs you mentioned. Two of my favorites as well...not to sound like Dr.Phil but you'd have to ask "What the hell were they thinking?"

More bad news in Hoopsville: Jamaal Tinsley & Marquis Daniels involved in a bar fight after the Warriors game Monday night. Allegedly Tinsley threatened to kill the owner of the bar & both he & Daniels punched the owner, who now sports a broken jaw. Currently under investigation....

I am really happy for Tony Dungy. If anyone deserves this, he does. Since he's joined the Colts organization he's lost his Mom, his Dad, and most tragically, his son last year. The guy has always just been very classy ever since he hit town. Good thing it's 15 below here....maybe the fans won't tear the place up.
