We're coming from the Phoenix area too (Mesa). I'm requesting "When The Roses Bloom Again" and my brother is requesting "I'm Always In Love".
-
I must have missed that song on the request form.
-
Well, this leads me to believe that even one request for a song might/does get played. Hopefully, they will play my request in NM because I am sure I am the only person to request it.
-
Wow, I would love to hear any of these in NM, specifically, "Summerteeth" and "Christ For President". Do you know if anyone tapped this show?
-
Tickets usually show up about two weeks before the show. You will get an email when they get shipped.
-
How many people here requested songs that actually got played? I could see Glenn giving Jeff the look. Now if Jeff could stare at him until he busted out a nice drum solo, I would be very happy.

"I'm always shitting in the punch bowl."

Right. I thought about this, but must have forgot to put it down. Sepultura, "Attitude"/ Soulfly, "The Song Remains Insane". Both written by Max Cavalera; almost the exact same song, only one is sped up. Woops, you said same album, oh well, I already typed it, deal with it. Wilco, "This Is New"/"This Is New (The Explanation)". Yes?

Wow, ticketmaster just keeps getting better..... http://consumerist.com/383112/ticketmaster...alping-business

Pink Floyd has several tracks like this. Hope this is what you are looking for. Another Brick in the Wall (Part 1)/(Part 2)/(Part 3). In The Flesh?/In The Flesh A New Machine (Part 1)/(Part 2) Pigs On The Wings (Part 1)/(Part 2) On Fillmore (I think this works) Captive Audience/Captive Audience Reprise Tool Wings For Marie/10,000 Days

One of my theories for something like this is that someone grabs two tickets, maybe sets up an account, goes through all the shipping and payment screens and then choose not to get the tickets and dump them back into the pool. Maybe with all the charges, it gets too expensive.

Reading this thread reminded me of something. Way back when, Glenn and I talked about Metallica and how hard it would be to play the drums for them. He then loaned me one of his books. It was how to play the Metallica's ...And Justice For All songs with a cassette tape to help you. I remember looking through the book and seeing how hard it was, but at the same time thinking the songs were evil. I don't know why, but I thought playing them would be evil. I quickly dismissed that thought, but couldn't really play Metallica. Oh well.....then again it would have been cool to see him play t

The local record shop by me flooded and will not reopen. Anyone here remember Lindys in Glen Ellyn or Bogarts in Addison?
-
That's what I'm listening to also. You kind of have to, plus it's a GREAT song.

Name a band you think is better than the Ramones

Queens of the Stone Age. -
Only downloaded one song so far, but you guys sound great. Will download more or all of it to be sure.

I don't think they reserve the first two rows. Maybe a few seats, but entire rows? I know there are people on here with seats in the first two rows to up coming shows and they bought them through the presale.
-
Yes, the word 'initial' stood out to me too. They also seem to be coming to the west for Oregon and San Francisco, so hopefully, they stop in the desert.
-
I must have missed that part. I did have someone talking in my ear the whole time.

What's the price of gas where you are?
zebra replied to Twisted Acres's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
$3.22/gal. I don't know good prices for 'full service', but $5.00+/gal in Gorda, CA seems really high. http://www.sanluisobispo.com/news/local/story/304197.html TRIBUNE PHOTO BY DAVID MIDDLECAMP -
Yeah, I caught that too. So, Dwight's date was a homeless lady or what? They showed her at the end by a bus stop near a bum. I also loved how Jim couldn't take the smell in the candle room and stuck his head into the hall and breathed in the air. Also, was I the only one who figured out early on the song they were listening to (written by Jan's assistant) was about him and her?

I thought tonight's episode was great. I think it had a bunch of subtle jokes.
