  1. Best-Seeing them in Denver both nights, taping both nights, and getting the show poster signed Missed-Being a few shows off of seeing the reintroduction (and for some introduction) of Box Full Of Letters, but that seems to always be my luck with Wilco
  2. No, not against a random moron on a message board, but against the people that moron would elect to office.
  3. Uhm...Vote against dick headed individuals like yourself would be my first impulse. Sorry, "What would be, Vote against dick headed individuals like yourself"? I always forget to answer in the form of a question.
  4. If anyone taped both nights in Denver, please let me know. Thanks, Luke
  5. Jeff was asked about the possibility of a reunion in the April 2002 issue of Magnet, and he said he wouldn't be opposed to a one-off show. I had Jeff sign my Uncle Tupelo cd after the Denver shows, and he asked who had signed it before him. I said, "Uhm, Jay Farrar. He said "That's Jay's signature? It sure has changed since I saw it last." John said not to hold your breath on it ever transpiring.
  6. There's other versions of this show and mine are just a little bit different in that they have a closer, quieter sound. Less audience I guess. I went out of my way to avoid being back near the soundboard to avoid getting all of the crowd. Some people might like that I suppose. But I think I've found someone so I'll keep anyone that is still interested posted. Thanks, Luke
  7. I taped both Denver shows and wanted to get someone to torrent them. I sent them out to someone and I don't believe they were ever posted so I thought I'd try again. I'll just send out a dvd with both complete shows on it. Thanks, Luke
  8. I suspect the voting process was rigged and the true winner is Being There. I demand a recount. On a side note, that new song "Too Far Apart" is awesome.
  9. Box Full of Letters and Casino Queen, and Too Far Apart? Wilco should let their fans make suggestions more often. I've got to hear what this lineup does with those songs. I am thoroughly shocked.
  10. I'm looking to buy a mac product to record music (live/sampled instruments). What's an ideal machine to buy, Powerbook or other? Luke
  11. Does anyone have the audio from these performances in wav format? Luke
  12. Isadorah, Here's the tracklisting for my copies of the Denver shows, if you'd like to make the cover art. 13. What kind of camera was used to take those photos? mine didn't come out since I couldn't use a flash.
  14. If anyone would like to make art for both shows, heres a link to some pretty excellent photos from the Fillmore: http://picasaweb.google.com/tbcook/WilcoAt...mDenverCO090207 Thanks, Luke Fillmore, 9/1: CD1 1.You Are My Face 2.IATTBYH 3.Pot Kettle Black 4.Handshake Drugs 5.A Shot in the Arm 6.Radio Cure 7.War on War 8.Side With The Seeds 9.Shake It Off 10.Too Far Apart 11.Jesus, etc. 12.Walken 13.I'm The Man Who Loves You 14.Hummingbird 15.On and On and On CD2 1.Impossible Germany 2.How To Fight Loneliness> 3.Spiders (Kidsmoke) 4.Via Chicago 5.Hate It Here 6.Heavy Metal Drummer 7.I'm Alway
  15. Call me a skeptic, but I call BS when bands call for requests. Would they really play anything off of AM thats not Passenger Side or Too Far Apart, or any odds and ends off of either Mermaid Ave's? Probably not. I like the interactive aspect, but REM did the same thing in 2003, and every night was more or less the same. I saw several consecutive shows and they started the same and ended the same. I may be pleasantly surprised, but I'd expect mostly YHF, AGIB and SBS content. But anymore, I find that when bands play something you really want to here, it tends to mean more rather than hearing it
  16. I had an amazing time at both shows, and was pleased with the varying song selection. I taped both nights and am very happy with the results. The Fillmore staff was super cool about taping, and didn't hassle me about being as close as I was to the stage. I loved the fact that Jeff called people out on disliking A.M. It's one of their best records, and until 2001, it's song listing accounted for 30-40% of the set lists. Met the band afterwards, and tried to throw out the idea of playing Las Vegas to Jeff and company. I had done this before and low and behold they eventually came to Vegas, twi
  17. There was one other taper in addition to me at tonights show, though I dont think he's taping tomorrow. There were a few obnoxious folks near me, but they werent consistently obnoxious, so from what I can tell the recording sounds good. From what I remember: How to fight loneliness Via Chicago HMD IATTBYH Too far apart outtasite outtamind impossible germany Pot Kettle Black radio cure spiders jesus etc hate it here shake it off on and on side with the seeds
  18. Nice to see some A.M. songs getting some play for a change.
  19. So is it safe to assume that if I try to walk through the door with my gear in my bag that security is going to stop me? But if I just stealth it I should be fine? I can do either. Maybe just get there earlier in the day and check it out.
  20. Is the Fillmore ok with taping? Has anyone here taped there in the past? Just wondering what to expect. Despite the fact that Wilco is ok with taping, sometimes venues are ill-informed and can hassle you about it. Thanks, Luke
  21. I was told they're free and regularly passed out, like the menu's/posters they have at Stubb's BBQ in Austin. I guess not.
  22. Does anyone plan on taping either of the Denver shows next week? I was planning on taping both, but thought I'd ask. Also, do they still pass out posters at the Fillmore shows? Thanks, Luke
  23. I disliked these guys when they were portly and named Tenacious D. Their strain to be ironic looks painful. I like oddball stuff like The State, and Get A Life, but this show makes no sense to me.
  24. I stayed up late all through the summer of 94 to tape the State. I would pause the vcr to edit out the commercials while the show was airing. I did this with both seasons. Well, my sister was an avid fan of Days Of Our Lives and was going to miss a supposedly crucial episode and needed a vhs tape to record the episode.....I always hated soap operas, and that only fueled my rage. I actually met the guy that plays dangle, and one of the other state guys at a Pete Yorn show in vegas in 2002, and immediately asked them about the show. They said go to ebay since it's not coming out any time soon. T
