  1. Your list is fabulous, Sir. However, it's merely a list of your favorite 20 albums in descending order, as are all the other entries. There's little room for "most accurate." In my most accurate opinion, of course.
  2. "Winnfield has seen a spate of high-profile corruption cases in recent years. One of Nevils' predecessors as district attorney, Terry Reeves, killed himself amid allegations of embezzlement and extortion. The town's current police chief, Johnny Ray Carpenter, is a convicted drug offender who received a pardon from former Louisiana Gov. Edwin Edwards who himself is now serving a federal prison term for racketeering. And Carpenter's predecessor, Gleason Nugent -- the father of Pikes' arresting officer -- committed suicide in 2005, after allegations of fraud and vote buying in the race for poli
  3. Yeah, there was a piece I read on Ichiro last week during the AS Game that claimed Ichiro has been amping up the AL All-Stars in the locker room before the game since 2001 in English and that all the first basemen in the AL know the "secret," too.
  4. Envision that car, and particularly it's engine, wrapped in white light. Seriously.
  5. Not to stick my ugly head in where it doesn't belong, but this sums up just about any political "debate" in the last 20+ years. It's a revolving door of the same crap spewed from different angles (not you personally, b2). Crowd-pleasing talk from those in politics on policy/issues and the same bottom line in the end, no matter who's running the joint. I personally think that apathy is close to being justified.
  6. You may be right. I was just referring to the tape of the show. The tune in it's whole. The ending was the part I was referencing anyway.
  7. Or cross the street: http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/reds.../2008/07/manny_ Yeah, Boston media. Manny is a genius at hitting a baseball. Let's not read too much more into it than that, though. He's under the radar in his work ethic because of his personality. But still, he bangs a ball better than most folks and there's a certain intelligence that comes with that. Outside of the game, I'd fear for the man. He chooses to speak English when it suits him, perhaps? Heck, my oldest boy wears hearing aids and "chooses" not to hear me at times. I often wish I could pull the same stunt.
  8. And he mistook De La Soul is Dead for 3 Feet High and Rising
  9. I always thought they should have done an episode where the Girls go to Vegas and crazy stuff happens to them and a lot of dry, derogatory quips fly from Sophia's mouth. "The Golden Girls Do Vegas," like maybe a 1-hour special or something.
  10. Looks like she's using proper 3-o'clock/9-o'clock steering wheel grips. Kudos to her.
  11. True. Though I've gotta say I get a lot more work done at work now that I can't tinker with Fantasy line-ups. We've got Photobucket blocked at work, too. What's up with that?
  12. Yeah, they really need to come up with a better (read: wok internet-safe word) word than "Fantasy" for these leagues.
  13. Let alone assaulting your mom and sister.
  14. What the hell is he doing out of Gotham, anyway? Serves him right.
  15. Both very good reads that I enjoyed, too, but I'm not sure I'd even put them in Vonnegut's "Top 10" list. That's more a testament to Vonnegut than the quality of those two particular books, though. I'm not sure why we're surprised by the omissions/submissions to this list. Really, how much credibility should we give to a fluff-journalism rag? The Da Vinici Code? That's all you need to know.
  16. Hold on to it. One more and a drum and you're a musician! Though presently you can hit just about anything and make noise, too....Cowbell, that ribbed gourd thing, etc.
  17. Almost picked up his new one at the library last week. It's about his father, from what I gathered from the book jacket. Anyone read it yet?
  18. Good stuff, man. He's under the radar fantastic.
  19. My pal who was there (big Phish guy, too) left right after "She Said" to catch Gov't Mule and the first tune he heard them play...."She Said!"
