Only saw Petty in '86 when he was touring with The GD and Dylan. Thought he was good. My choice was Celtics vs. Nuggets tix or Tom Petty tix. I took the Celtics tix. Should/ve taken the Petty tix, though....

Today I heard a radio ad for the new re-mastered first three Led Zeppelin albums. They played a few original analog snips compared to the new, re-mastered snips. They sounded exactly the same to me.

Kimock has always been a nice fit in Ratdog, imo (filled in for Karan a few years ago when he was sick). I like Kimock in that role better than going to see Kimock play in his own band, which, to me, gets tedious quickly.

Anybody who even attempts to play ripping solos in any of these configurations ultimately gets panned for being a "fake Jerry," though.....
