  1. Went last night after having seen many shows since 2004. While, yes, the music was predictably professional, creative and amazing I found the whole experience to be a bit of a characiture of itself. It felt like being in a Disney world exhibit - "wilco: the concert experience." Perhaps it was the all white (albeit one), predominantly male, aging hipster makeup of the audience, an audience whose beards are now slightly more well kempt, whose clothes are slightly more expensive, whose lives are, one could imagine, more stable than than years gone by. My girlfriend helped elucidate how very Male

  3. Almost exact set list as dublin and rest of europe...hope they mix it up some for St Louis. Taking my 8 yo boy to his first concert Wednesday night. I don't think he'll complain about the setlist:)
  4. I know I know..they did the 6 shows there last year...but seriously...no shows in their hometown for over a year and a half? Signed, Living near chicago
  5. Any ideas on when Wilco will play Chicago again?
  6. Asked in an interview the night before the pitchfork show when they finished the album Jeff said 2 weeks ago...so probably not ready is my guess.

The "more" anakin wants is to have enough control to protect himself from loss...from pain. Impossible. Anakin Skywalker: Something's happening. I'm not the Jedi I should be. I want more. And I know I shouldn't.
  8. What's the cat sitting on? Waiting for Lexapro to kick in to hear what it sounds like;)
  9. Magazine...laminated cat...less thank you think...cmon...awesome
  10. Was at show as well...great as usual. Different vibe than winterlude (was at night 5) which seemed more laid back. Regarding kingpin arrangement- wasn't surprised by the way they approached it (really liked it in fact. I was surprised they played it at all as I remember hearing Jeff say at one point last year that that night was going to be the last time they would do the call and response...insinuating that it was getting stale. Anyways, was happy to hear it though I do miss the audience participation. One thing that stood out was Jeff's intense facial expressions and body language dur
