  1. Most definitely. I try to check it every day, and about every week or so (sometimes more) I randomly challenge myself into taking the original 151 Pokémon quiz. I usually plateau at about 140-145. (Today I flatlined at 138) It took me like 20 seconds at the most for the Wilco one, though.
  2. I got real bored one day and threw all five of my finished songs (rest of them go unrecorded to this day) onto bandcamp, here's the link: hither
  3. I first questioned why the Jets cut Jones, but they have a glut at RB and he's the oldest. May have been the best of the lot, but whatever. At least this means that me Browns might make a run for him.
  4. , should be amazing. Seeing them 4 nights in a row...May 10-13. Going to be awesome. You should check this out, it's pretty stellar: Pavement 2010 Tour info.
  5. It's: D F# G D Every moment's a little bit later D F# G D Every moment's a little bit later E G A Every moment's a little bit later At least that's how I would play it.
  6. Yep, that's me. I forgot about that username...so old school.
  7. 1. Dogs are domesticated. If a dog is trained to kill, then there's major problems, and yes, they usually have to be put down. Whales, especially orcas, can't really be domesticated. 2. Also, think about their play. Dog's play can't really inflict harm on a human being, because their size (and so the damage they can inflict). A whale's play is in a much larger "realm of size," (if the term makes any sense). A whale playing can definitely inflict boatloads of harm based on their size.
  8. I would say none, but that's because the question is framed as "what bands or artist do you like more than Wilco." Wilco will always be my favorite band ever, being my first love when it comes to music. But I quite obviously acknowledge the presence of "better" artists out there, and so given a composite measure of "how good I think they are" and "how much I love them" you'd probably get this: 1. The Beatles 2. Bob Dylan 3. The Band 4. Wilco 5. Pavement
  9. Most definitely. Eddie could solo for days and I'd listen to every second of it.
  10. I can think of a few. The three I listed are shoe-ins. Also stuff like Bitches Brew, Physical Graffiti, Blonde on Blonde. The charm in a double-LP is its messiness. It's not going to be concise. That's not the point. It's like a King-sized value meal. You just eat it all up because it's tasty (and surely a good double-LP is easier to take in than a Large Big Mac Value Meal). One bite may not be as good as the rest, but every bite is undeniably important in the consumption of the burger/LP and contributes to the whole tasty experience.
  11. Hah, no. It's clear that if the album is X songs long, there is a reason why it is that many songs long. So yes, when I go through the Beatles, Exile on Main St., London Calling, and the ilk, I damn well go through the whole thing. While cutting tracks is an entertaining exercise, I just feel weird about doing it.
  12. Pavement - Here is my new really sad song. This song can make me tear up, and I'm a dude. Where on the studio version (not the Luxe & Reduxe version that is the basis of every Youtube of this song) when the heavily distorted kicks in after the last chorus, it's pretty damn cathartic. Just really poignant, though, uh, hell if I know what any of it means, except for the first line: "I was dressed for success but success it never comes"
  13. Wasn't there a strain of them by R.L. Stein like "Choose Your Own Scare" or "Choose Your Own Nightmare" or something similar? I remember those...don't think I was old enough to see those CYOA books around though.
  14. While there won't be a way around the redonkulously expensive ticket TO Europe, if you book from European country to European country via one of the many cheap airlines like EasyJet or RyanAir, you will definitely save some money. Just watch out for fees, RyanAir especially, as they like to charge you a WHOLE lot for random stuff. I managed to get away with £40 with return to Dublin, which I consider pretty damn stellar.
  15. Currently cleaning up on Bonham's drums on "When the Levee Breaks" are THUNDEROUS. Holy crap.
  16. It's Jamison there with the Cavs now. And he laid a giant egg his first game. Hope he gets his junk together, man.
  17. ^ I love the record. It's a lot to go through (I was going through some of it trying to read in Russell Square, but the cold and trying to read homework didn't allow me to get a good enough of a listen), but from what I figure it's a damn good record. NP:
  18. So, I believe the only way the Cavs don't win the title this year (especially now with Jamison) is if they shoot themselves in the foot. Granted, I think I said this last year, and look where I got.
