I like Neutral Milk Hotel. Kind of a lot. The above statement has been toned down from the man-loving, hater-hating, curse-filled statement that it used to be.

I like this record a lot now.

Bob, Neil etc......still relevant in 2009?
Gobias Industries replied to Wild Frank's topic in Someone Else's Song
Bob Dylan is still relevant. The man might not have the voice he used to have, but he's a damn poet still, and no one has come even close to him with regards to that. He will always be relevant until someone can displace him, which is never. -
Wasn't Danger Mouse responsible for the Grey Album? Kind of a start, but not the real thing. But Danger Mouse remixes would kind of just be insane. I'm not sure I could bear to fuck with Beatles recordings (though he has and evidently lived to tell the tale).

Can you even copyright a building? I'm going to say no. I mean, the worst they can do is cease and desist, right? I am excited for this shirt.

Jeff Tweedy The Post Punk, Rock and Roll Troubadour

I agree with this largely because of the Beatles reference. Though it appears I have been beaten to the punch already. -
Thank the fucking lord, it's about time they actually do this. Totally getting the mono box set. Maybe I'll just get everything though, frankly, I don't give a damn, this is too good news.

Not the Sonic Youth/my name shout-out thread I expected.

274 and... You are a centrist social libertarian. Right: 0.06, Libertarian: 5.43 Actually, a lot more right than I expected. Mostly because of economic issues, I suppose.

Yeah...

Has anyone pre-ordered theirs yet? I just placed my order, and the site didn't indicate whether or not I would get the poster. Because that's half the reason why I'm pre-ordering the damn thing, and so I'd be really mad if I didn't get mine.
