That's pretty tame compared to what people 'round here were screaming about M!ch!gan yesterday during Mirror Lake night. No, I didn't jump in...I didn't want to risk syphilis or crabs or something.

I'm certain he peaked with Late Registration, and part of that was working with Jon Brion who basically opened that higher playing field for Kanye. now listening to what little parts of Nels Cline Singers - The Giant Pin I have. -
Michigan upset UCLA tonight. Guess that's their win for the weekend.

Artists that you came to late in the game

Basically everything, I've been catching up ever since. Late bloomer, I guess. the Beatles (weird, but I never really heard much except for Yesterday, which is one of my dad's favorite songs) Bob Dylan the Band Neil Young Neutral Milk Hotel Wilco (granted, they're still around, but I didn't get into them around AGIB) Uncle Tupelo the Clash -
What non Wilco song can't you get enough of these days

The Band - Don't Do It -
Nothing really bothers me off a quick glance. Happy to see that the Clash basically owned that list for whatever time period (they had at least 1 in each they were active), though there seemed to only be one Talking Heads song (Psycho Killer) which kinda sucked (Tom Tom Club made it though). While 'Guns of Brixton' is a rather curious choice given 'London Calling,' 'Spanish Bombs,' and etc., it's good that Pitchfork is giving the lesser known tracks a voice. They really should have just put the image for In the Aeroplane Over the Sea under 1997-1999, I mean, that whole album is simply perf

That's probably the easiest decision I would make in my existence. Not as a rag on anyone/everyone else, but if it were humanity or the Beatles, I would pick the Beatles virtually every time.

The "Big Peoples" Bowl. I am a personal advocate of this matchup. I am mad that I didn't start Ted Ginn Jr. last week. Shame on me. -

I think the weirdest part is with the Orange Bowl this year, neither the Big East or the ACC look very good, so it doesn't really make too much sense to schedule that traditional matchup. The Big East champ will be either Cincinnati or Pitt (WVU still has an outside chance though), and the ACC champion could be pretty much anyone at this point, and both conferences don't have anyone NEAR the top 15. So I feel like this year, if any year, would be one to not follow it (like last year's VTech vs. Kansas). Pick the best out of the ACC/Big East winners, and go from there, leaving an extra one o

Well, it's more like I'm scared enough about this game that I would rather embrace delusion than reality. Trust me, if I was cocky about it I wouldn't be so far-fetched with my claims.

UM can start winning games vs. us after I graduate, which is, oh, Spring 2011. That is all I can say about this coming week.

I wonder where my beer thread went. I'm a fan of the Sam Adams Octoberfest, Smithwick's, and Blue Moon. Haven't had too many beers in my existence. Not because I'm not of age or anything...

I can't really weigh in on your issue but I use a Boss Micro BR to record, that's it, no special mics, nothin' else. I mostly DI for everything (except acoustic/vocals, which I record at the same time, 1 track and straight into the little condenser mic on the thing), and I don't have a bass so I plug in my guitar and use the bass effects, and it works pretty well. I think once I "mic'd" my guitar amp but that involved a lot of volume lowering to make sure it wouldn't destroy the recording itself. I'm really happy with it, though. It's digital, I think, but with the on-board condenser mic I

The only real bright light on last season. Now let's see what the Indians can do this off-season. The question is, do we keep Shoppach and Martinez at C? Shoppach has done amazing filling in, and his bat was red hot. We could keep both, put Martinez in at DH or keep him at C on Shoppach off days, but it would be interesting to see if GM Shapiro will offer Martinez up.

This true, "Republicans" were "Democrats" until about the time of FDR, then it switched.
