Nixon? I think one would have to argue that Nixon started it all with the EPA. Who knows if it was done mostly because Nixon wanted to actually do something before "accidentally" undermining his presidency, or because the Democrats strong-armed him into doing it, but he did it. Ironically, Nixon was way more Democrat than most people portray him to be.

Happy birthday, hope it's the best!

I think God wants to give His Rays (without the Devil moniker God as accepted them as one of his own) another chance. It has to be, because there's no other good explanation.

Yeah, I think we might end up in the Rose Bowl just because the Rose Bowl Committee is picky as hell with the whole Pac-10/Big Ten thing (it would certainly be a better game than 2008.09.13), but it probably would do a world of good to thrash an SEC team in the Capital One Bowl or something. I thought for a second there that was the aftermath of a particular OSU game... -
If true, I'm not surprised, but she wouldn't even have a chance in winning, because the way the party is breaking up (and the fact that it's going to have to move away from the rampant evangelism that she personifies).

The only person to embody this song anywhere near Dylan himself has got to be Neil Young. That sounds like it was the coolest thing, ever.

Just thought of Uncle Tupelo - Gun - Still Feel Gone You feel like burning shit up after you hear the song.

Aggressive? They're the most passive people I've ever seen.

Not the "Uncle Tupelo reunites on the Colbert Report" thread I was expecting.

I'm not really angry, just depressed, because I knew Pryor's inexperience would show and it did. The angering thing is that the O-line gave enough time to throw the entire time, which means, hey, maybe we should play Boeckman for a bit, because he can actually throw. It would have opened the game up entirely, and then it gives Beanie breathing room.

Yeah, I realized that, so I edited the post. Heh... Airbag is also a great way to kick off a record (OK Computer). As would My Name Is Jonas - Weezer.
