  1. Creed: A lot of jazz cats are blind. But they can play the piano like nobody's business. I'd like to put the piano in front of Pam, without her glasses, and see what happens. I'd also like to see her topless. Jim: You know what would energize me? If you, Pamela Morgan Beesly, would take— Pam: Don't— Don't you dare. If you propose to me during the Michael meeting I will say no. Jim: Well, it's too late. Because I'm proposing... that you get me a cup of coffee, which would energize me greatly, and make me the happiest man in the world.
  2. If I had to harvest 10000000000000000000 souls to get the Beatles to reunite (Lennon and Harrison returned from the beyond) I would be sorely tempted to do it. But, every other one I can think of has been mentioned. Like Neutral Milk Hotel. The ones I want will never happenm.
  3. Eloquent. I'm going to put on Bach now after I finish Uncle Tupelo's Anodyne.
  4. Hey, come on, the ACC and the Big East are worse than us this year. Pryor is going through growing pains, the question is when he will get out of them. He still has vision issues and is still trying to look for passes when the aren't there, thus hampering his running ability. He needs to just take the damn ball and run if he doesn't see anything. I was curious as to why Boeckman didn't get any playing time when Pryor was not doing well. Watching from the bench would have given him some perspective on the whole quarterback shenanigans, at least. We better look good next week, or els
  5. I'm gonna call it right now, Manny goes 2/4, HR, 3RBI in a win over the Phils.
  6. I found last night's episode had a high quantity of funny but not necessarily a high quality of funny. Plus, an episode with virtually 0 Pam Beesly is not my type of episode...
  7. It's just Manny being Manny. Can't top that.
  8. - I Must Be High - Casino Queen - Box Full of Letters - Shouldn't Be Ashamed - Pick Up the Change Honorable mentions being Hotel Arizona and Dreamer In My Dreams. I listen to less and less YHF-on stuff and more and more the pre-that stuff.
  9. As a true man of the album, I really don't skip any tunes but if I ever was forced to (i.e. at gunpoint): I'm the Man Who Loves You, mostly due to its overplaying. Perhaps Shake It Off, but I don't really mind listening to it.
  10. Thanks for the info! It was fantastic, it's up there with a Wilco show, I'm not gonna lie.
  11. It's actually Graham Chapman of Monty Python fame. It's from the fourth season of Monty Python's Flying Circus, in the Mr. Neutron sketch. I'm going to go with Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago for my pick. Yes, independently released the year before, but rereleased this year too (I first heard it after it was rereleased).

Blue Ridge Mountains It was a great show, it was loose and the music was just fantastic. They were all hilarious. Ongoing joke was Emperor Palpatine's "That one" thing, applied to everything from politics to the next song
  13. The turnout was pretty good, filled probably 3/5 to 2/3 of the Oval. Sadly, I think most people were there because it was an Obama rally, rather than a Bruce Springsteen performance. I mean, there's so many Obama rallies but only so little chances to see Bruce Springsteen...right?
  14. It's irrelevant. She supports who she wants. She can say what she wants to say. Get over it. It's not the end of the world or the election. And, it's not like Republican supporters are playing the game clean either.
  15. Anyone who says Ringo was the weakest link in the Beatles deserves to burn in the fiery pits of Hell. There is no weak link in the Beatles, only the four strongest fucking links ever made in the history of music. Just putting that out there right now, ya know. But Linda, Yoko, and rock star wives in general tainted great solo careers, I will admit that.
  16. YOU SAY IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY IT'S MY BIRTHDAY TOO YEAH THEY SAY IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY WE'RE GONNA HAVE A GOOD TIME I'M GLAD IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
  17. I really only use the Amazon MP3 service. It's the most convienent and I have no money to be in the vinyl business so yeah. I would be all over it but alas.
  18. The Bassist Bible might look like this: "There was the bass, and it was Paul McCartney." -Genesis 1:1 No one can match the Macca. Tina is a great bassist, she was super-foxy in those days too, but Macca outduels everyone in a sheer contest of melody. In terms of technical ability one cannot overlook Victor Wooten, though.
