Obviously the right genes didn't get passed on.

I'm ok with that.

So should I be proud of the fact that I managed to displace the British Empire?

You're not even saying anything substantive anymore. Somehow, I'm not surprised.

I think it was the Gamecocks avatar that gave it away.

Tomorrow I might call up a friend of mine who is on the AT program here at OSU and maybe he can fill me in with some "insider information" and I can relay it here. As far as "official" is concerned, though, Beanie apparently practiced today (as in yesterday, Tuesday), though his status vs. Ohio is "gameday" or something equivalent. The obvious choice is to let him rest this game, make sure he's healthy and can so have a good game vs. USC. A good game vs. USC with a week off vs. Ohio will look much, much, much better for the Heisman ballot than a good game vs. Ohio and a mediocre, or worse,

Man, it makes me so happy to see the Tribe keep the AL Central race close...and they're not even in it. Best thing I can hope for since we can't make it, I suppose.

Is that the stuff they sell in those KISS coffee shops? I almost went into one once, just because I never thought coffee and KISS could have ever existed together in a single establishment. I ended up not doing so because I was around my parents.

Apparently his previous nagging injury was more of an ankle problem, or at least that's what I hear. X-rays came up negative. He'll definitely sit out the Ohio game, just so he'll actually be able to run at least once against USC. According to ESPN he didn't practice yesterday and still had a boot on. If it is legit serious, man, I will be so sad and so angry. It'll be time to start burning shit again.

10 Essential Alt-country Albums
Gobias Industries replied to prefixmag's topic in Someone Else's Song
Seriously. Uncle Tupelo birthed alt-country from its loins. All the Uncle Tupelo albums should be on there. Half of those on the list barely qualify, if at all. 1. Uncle Tupelo - Anodyne 2. Uncle Tupelo - March 16-20, 1992 3. Uncle Tupelo - Still Feel Gone 4. Uncle Tupelo - No Depression 5. Son Volt - Trace 6. The Jayhawks - Hollywood Town Hall 7. Wilco - Being There Then you can fill it out however else you like, that's what the core should look like, in my opinion. Also, if you use this to justify an alt-country record, then doesn't Dylan's Blood on the Tracks deserve the top sp -

On the converse, there's probably a similar quantity of individuals who would plan to vote for McCain/Palin because Palin has a vagina.

Biden's kid (Attorney General of Delaware, too, I think) is getting shipped off to Iraq within a month or something. Obama's kids aren't of age. You can't honestly say that having kids in the Army provides any (in)tangible advantage for the Republicans when the Democrats have (almost) equal footing. I say almost because Obama's kids aren't of age. You can't hold shit against him for that.

Haha it's all cool. Just will have to be earlier next month... NP: I don't think the one's I'm listening to are specifically the Collector's Editions, but they sure look damn cooler than just the plain soundtrack covers.
