Well, it was Obama's pastor who said the stuff, and Obama isn't necessarily lock-step with that guy, and Obama really shouldn't be held accountable for the words of his pastor. However, this is Sarah Palin saying this stuff, and hopefully Sarah Palin is lock-step with Sarah Palin, or there would be some serious issues at hand. Really, really freaky business.

To be honest, my initial reaction to the movie was "What the fuck just happened?" Then, I realized, just as the Dude does, the film abides, and so the gates to heaven opened before me, and I was blessed.

Hadn't seen it, so made a point of it today to go get it from the library and watch it. I enjoyed it, Sam Elliot's narration was awesome, as was the entire movie.

Wow. If only I wasn't a college student with limited income, I would totally get on that...

Shit, I just found this and I'm listening to Global A Go Go right now. Cryptic. Strummer led me to the light. Simple enough. Love the man to death.

I would check out the whole album, personally. The album staggering in its beauty. It's definitely one of those "go for the epic moment" albums so a lot of it is slow-moving until the "epic moment" of a track/song smacks you in the face.

I don't hate USC or its players, but Palmer should know better when he talks. He's in Buckeye Country, and you don't talk like that about Buckeye Football. He lives in Cinci (from what I hear), for crying out loud. He should know by now. I don't care if he allies himself closely with his alma mater (as he probably should), but Ohio pays him his bucks, so he should tread more carefully. I suppose I'm more passionate about this issue than the majority of people.
