Wow that's awesome. The Toronto show is gonna be so awesome. Second year in a row Wilco at Massey Hall, last show of the NA Tour, low opening and my little 10 year old brother will see his first Wilco show!
-
Hopefully someone is recording this.
-
I was talking to Nels after a Wilco show and he says that the reissue Jazzmasters are shit, and he only likes the vintage ones. Straight from the Jazzmaster man himself! And yeah the reissues can be bought for $2000.
-
If every song was liek Start Of Something people would just call them a complete rip off of the Smiths and Belle And Sebastian.
-
Oh yeah I just kept it in Capo 5 so you could play the song with the chords and the solo. Seems pretty right to me.
-
They played a Canadian tour last summer. So far they are only playing Toronto this summer.
-
I agree with the Ram comparison. On the Canadian tour last year they had "Ram On" as one of the songs between sets.
-
I will be making my second straight Massey Hall appearence. Hopefully they add a Michigan date after it so I can have my minimum two Wilco show summer trip.

I just downloaded this as well and I'm quite enjoying it. It's the first time I've heard the National, I read up on them when Alligator came out but for some reason never bothered to listen to them. Thank you Via Chicago!

I kept the tab inside Capo 5 because it's easier that way and that's the way I hear Nels play it on the record. Hope you enjoy. e --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- b ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- g ------------------------------------------5-------9---7h9p7----7------------------------------------------9----7----9----7----9-------------- d --------------9--------

I'm also pretty sure Classic Cars is about Winona Ryder.
-
Clense Song is pretty great too.
-
Mike Mogis? I thought he's done great things.
-
Haha I'm sorry I promise theses things and then forget about them, but here they are. Majority of the song works off of A, D, C#m, D and then goes to this A, Adim? (A, Eb, C), B/D, A And that's it!

I have it, there's nothing in there that you can't find on this site or other ones. But I did find the vocal melody interesrting.
-
Jeff plays this song Capo 5 sometimes which probably is easier to sing.
-
Tweedy, Dylan, McCartney.
-
I completely agree, the first five songs are fantastic.

Christ this is early but uh this year has been great for music so far and I hope it continues. Here's a rough list. Wilco - SBS Patrick Wolf - The Magic Position Bright Eyes - Cassadaga Arcade Fire - Funeral Son Volt - The Search Shins - WTNA Battles - Mirrored Dean And Britta - Back Numbers Kings Of Leon - BOTT Voxtrot - S/T
-
From listening to Four Winds endlessly and now the first half of Cassadaga this could quite possibly my favourite Bright Eyes album. His singing is less annoying, lyrics are fantastic again and the music is the most interesting and dynamic on a Bright Eyes record. 2007 is gonna be a great year for music! One thing that annoys me is that Endless Entertainment isn't on the album. I thought it was a fantastic song.

Sweet it works!

Drive-By Truckers.

Yeah this guy has uploaded it twice now and it's messed up both times. This is getting irritating!
-
Sky Blue Sky is in the key of C and Far, Far Away is in G. The drums are very similar and I think that's why every relates the two.

Someone just uploaded it and it's going fairly fast and is working now.
