i preordered the cd only (with the video d/l) originally. price $18.99 after shipping. didn't go the high road in shipping because i figure she'll be comin' round the mountain when she comes. caught wind of this new cd/dvd combo offer in this thread 3-4 days ago and promptly replied to the order confirmation email sent to me upon preordering (i had saved it in my inbox) stating that i wanted to upgrade my cd order to the cd/dvd combo order. i replied with my original message below the new one so that all my info was there. just today, after 3-4 days, i got an email confirming the $5.00

the only track i don't really like is leave me like you found me. the lyrics don't really hang on to the music and the timing seems off. reminds me of the tupelo song no sense in lovin in that regard. i like please be patient, but don't know if it really fits. i'm disappointed that the thanks i get isn't present. i thought that would be a great fit out of all the live ones they played (others i remember are let's fight, which i was glad to see disappear, and let's not get carried away, which i'd like to see on the album). overall satisfied, the above nitpicks notwithstanding.

just re-watched the acl performance i have recorded on tivo. great performance. jeff looks pretty haggard. does anybody have anything from that performance that you'd like to share (audio rips, video, etc.)? also, was anybody there? were those songs aired the only songs that they played (atltwys, muzzle, hell, ashes, wheel)? the date of this was sept. 2004 right, so where does that fit in with the rehab stint?

i set mine for 6:30 and get up at 7. my alarm is actually across the room so i have to get up to hit the snooze. pretty pathetic. i can go a few solid weeks when mentally i tell myself to get up on alarm 1 but the minute i have a break (i teach) i can't get back on track and use the snooze like a crutch.

i'm not so sure i trust juliet. i enjoyed hurley "playing" sawyer/james...his character (sawyer's) was actually a little dynamic for a change. also, did anybody notice the flashing when kate and juliet were hiding in the trees and the smokie monster was about? what was that?

i remember that about jack dying but abc insisting on keeping him. strange about michael keaton...somehow, i just don't see that working too well. i am really drawn to jack's character, and i may be in the minority here. everybody i talk shop with seem to hate him and write him off as being self-righteous and self-absorbed.

hey i feel ya tt...totally agree with you here. it's like saying you know i like the mona lisa, but guernica is shit (or as tt said vice versa). both are done by masters of obviously different styles and from very different times, but there is enough appreciation to go around. especially, i might add, after seeing them "live" and in person. viva wilco.
