  2. the 21st june 77 show is considered as one their best. recording quality is excellent for an audience tape and they played their arses off after a dissapointing san diego show a couple of days earlier. it was the last chapter the 70s zep. knebworth 79 and the 80 tour showed a stripped back and more modern sound (with more normal clothing!)
  3. Ed Kuepper last night and tonight as well. 2 and a half hours of all-request solo acoustic. he told me he'll try to play '99 luft balloons' tonight!
  4. a good kick up Plant's Aristotle would be to join up with Coverdale again! (with JPJ and the mini-Bonham)
  5. this might be the final nail in the coffin: http://ultimateclassicrock.com/jimmy-page-fed-up-with-robert-plant/ In a new interview, Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page says he’s tired of singer Robert Plant “playing games” regarding a reunion tour for the surviving members of the legendary group. 9. myths myths myths. the bron-yr-aur stomp gives me nightmares
  10. he hasnt done a "Duets' album yet. he's winding down on writing and just touring now. but he's sounding better now than 5 years ago. it could cause he's on the piano every now and then, or center stage with the harp
  11. he released Domino in 2000 and then its been same old, same old since. when he finally realizes that there wont be a reunion and gets the rest of the re-issues out, he'll be too old to do anything!
  12. here we go ....again... new jimmy music soon: http://ultimateclassicrock.com/jimmy-page-solo-project/
  13. The Police. Sting has a better voice, but why waste it? (go on, shoot me)
  14. Traveling Wilburys?. ok, 2 are gone, but that was a landmark album (and a pretty good follow-up as well)
  15. when i saw Roger play it here about 12 years ago, most of the band sat around a table and were playing cards during the instrumentals... maybe that says something!. give more parts of Pigs on the wing!
  16. i make no secret that i'm not a fan of acca dacca... 'go ahead, make my day'
  17. dont let roger hear you say that, but i agree with you! with zep, i cant go through III (the acoustic side is great apart from hats off to roy harper) the whole way through. also houses of the holy. both filled with excellent tracks and some throwaways
