no surprises on it. most songs (go away dash 7) sound similar and they stick in your head from the first listen. but BT is better -

i remember hearing New Madrid during a soundcheck in 2007, but they didnt play it. mountain bed and poor places were done too, and they played them. but we did get a solo acuff-rose at the end instead, so that was a nice long sound-check. the whole of SBS twice over with the other 3 rarities! -
the way sounds that jeff is gritting his teeth while singing 'your ticket you obtaaaiin" is worth the price of admission alone!

what?!. i remember telling John once that they should open every show with that one. i dont think a single day goes past without me listening to it. its the perfect opener. starting with jeff on his own and turning into mayhem from all of them at the end

jeff played it solo back in Jan 2003 in his solo shows before they did their first australian tour. dont know if it's a band version or just a live version from the Vic theatre early in the month. those shows are soundboards, though

do what i did. try to 'bump' into jeff before the show and ask him to play it it at the end of the show on his own - it worked for me once! -
