  1. $100 down the shitter at the dentist, only for a clean & polish. oh well, now i can wait another 11 years to go back
  2. saw bob dylan last night. WAY better than the last 2 tours. voice and harp were higher in the mix. he's doing 4 in row in melbourne, but stagnant setlists and a $200 price tag for a show, makes 1 show enough. plus, i'll get the bootlegs!
  3. well, i went in with low expectations. the last 2 tours were pretty bland, but TONIGHT was great suprise!. his voice is way better and so was the harp playing. he's using a real piano now, instead of that toy keyboard he bought in 2002. the set heavy on his last 2 albums, plus his voice was higher up in the mix. plus he's got charlie sexton back on guitar. definately the best he's been since the february 2003 show. it was the same wilco played in 2007. shows that theatres bring out the best in him rather the 12,000 capacity arenas St. Kilda, Australia (suburb of Melbourne) Palais Theatr
  4. john paul jones blowing the whistle to get the fast part of Fool in the rain, from Zeppelin?
  5. so he's saved Africa already?
  6. the Beatles walked across the abbey road crossing today in 1969, 35 years ago. i think paul forgot to put his shoes on!
  7. dont want to be a wet blanket, but i went to my 39 year old cousin's funeral today. too young. she was too young
  8. check out this article!. now robert's the good boy and jimmy's the bad-arse http://www.led-zeppelin.org/current-news/1617-robert-plants-led-zeppelin-acoustic-plans-rejected-by-jimmy-page reunited only once together?. what about live aid 85, atlantic records 40th show 88, carmen's wedding 89 and the '95 hall of fame?
  9. its been the same all the way. when i first saw this photo, i thought it was john bonham
  10. the '73 and '80 tapes were stolen, but not multitracks. the 80 ones sound dry and sterile. dig out the audience recordings of the 80 tour (rotterdam or munich), and you'd love that tour a lot more. these mystery multitracks that have leaked, i have a conspiracy theory that he's throwing bait in the water. there's a pro-shot video of Houston '77 that's out there 'somewhere' with the high roller collectors, but hasnt leaked yet
  11. Chronicles - Bob Dylan (straight from the horses mouth, but some of his stories see over-blown) Long Time Gone - David Crosby (honest and hard to put down)
  12. really?. there's soundboards (multitrack), from the 75 and 77 tour that came out on bootlegs recently
  13. well thats all jimmy's doing these days. he's also releasing t-shirts and coffee mugs on his website!
  14. i saw that ultimate classic rock before. i'm for the Physical Graffiti one to come out!
  15. of course. lots of unheard tracks on it. plus get Infidels, Oh mercy, and Under the red sky... but thats a matter of opinion!
  16. ask jeff for that as well... just say froggie sent you!. it worked for me once back in 2007
  17. the live stuff from the isle of wight doesnt tickle my fancy, but the rest is great!. greil marcus must have been on something when he said "what is this shit?"
  18. coming from a european background, our backyard looks like that in summer (apart from different fences) and we love it now it's just dirt! edited to add, dont forget to hide the weed plants
