ok, this is a cover, but i have a soft spot for the Spazzys!
-
if George Harrison heard that, he'd pat Jeff on the shoulder (same with hearing You never know). it's great!
-

once outisde my local club (that has pokies), i found a $100 note on the ground right outside as i was going in for a beer. whether they lost or won $100, it was mine at that point

hmm, some more controversy.. i see croz & nash have stuck their noses in the new one. i dont think we floyd fans will like it when it comes out. it might turn out to be a crosby, gilmour & nash album. cash-grab indeed http://ultimateclassicrock.com/pink-floyd-graham-nash-david-crosby/?utm_source=sailthru&utm_medium=referral

i assume it wont give access overseas?. since it's 3:19am friday the 11th right now, i dont know what to do!

dave can sell one is aeroplanes and nick can sell on his racing cars.. simple!
-
i'd love to see the look on Jeff's face if he did the same google search
-
there's info here about it below. gilmour will also add vocals to it. there's a 20 minute sample of it - nothing to write home about. the division bell was ok, but this would be only for die-hard fans. my friend's massive fan, so i'll burn a copy from his http://ultimateclassicrock.com/pink-floyd-endless-river-facts/?utm_source=sailthru&utm_medium=referral

to me its the traveling wilburys song that they didnt get a chance to write. the first time i heard it, i could sworn jim keltner was on drums and jeff lynne produced it. oh, and the wilburys are one of my favourite bands of all time!
-
no, i wont be at solid sound unless someone pays for me!. i shelled out $400 for bob dylan in august here! i'll see if i can contact kung fu tomorrow and 'work out a deal'

i was going to ask about this. on wilcoworld.net, the double cd version (20 songs) is only US$15.00....(dirt cheap for a new double cd). when i went to the check-out page for shipping to australia, the shipping rate is an extra $15.55 and that was the standard rate (6-8 weeks)... $43.80 priority, and $57.30 for express shipping. is that correct for a cd?. i assume it'll be a slim-line case like Being there. the shipping for that seems really steep, even for international shipping?????
-
i'd say its a grimace too!

they're instrumental outtakes from the Division Bell, but some vocals have been added from Gilmour and the backing singer on the tour. i'm not holding my breath, but the official announcement should be out on monday

froggie replied to wilcoexaminer's topic in Just A Fan
i'll see if i can dig it up.. i've got the soundtrack, but not that version! -
thanks to boiling water burns on both my hands last year, 7 weeks in hospital last year. after i banged my head on the kitchen tiles when i collapsed from that, i got dizzy and woke up in intensive care. i liked one of the younger nurses though!.

ok, our Rolf Harris, child molester, jailbird now, did Stairway a few times. here's a montage of an old clip of him doing it, mixed in with page/plant jones at the kennedy centre awards last year. a nice mix, but he deserves all he gets

Is it taboo to ask about Speedracer
froggie replied to Chinese Apple's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
i've never had a problem with speedracer - we've had personal emails, sending eachother disks and so forth over the years. -
Those one hit wonder bands/artist you enjoy
froggie replied to remphish1's topic in Someone Else's Song
black gold and misery both made the top 20 in australia in the mid 90s. but runaway train was the biggest hit here. i actually prefer black gold! -
my back pocket isnt big enough for that much loose change!

Eno-related: What can you tell me about this album?
froggie replied to PopTodd's topic in Someone Else's Song
that album cover reminds me of a certain Wilco album cover! -
i agree with that. they're still playing, but not as previously. i wasnt too big on AGIB when i came out, but it was different. a few side projects cant be too bad?
