  1. i actually enjoy that movie quite a bit. now watching:
  2. from every report i've heard and read it's a piece of shit compared to the ipod. also, i know several people who work for apple and love working for them. i think there's just an enclave of people who refuse to acknowledge that apple might happen to do some things better. i have friends like that. but even they've conceded the ipod is the best product of its kind.

  8. i find that book utterly delightful.
  9. the writing is going great right now. i should have the novel complete this summer, and i also have a bunch of other projects including a manuscript of essays about my experience working in the arctic circle last summer. and you're nearly correct, bjorn. it's a historical novel that transplants John Wayne in the Napoleonic era. a bit experimental but i think it will pay off.
