  1. I haven't gotten it either. Up in Canada, but still. Next time i'll just go and buy it in the record store.. Especially with The Thanks I Get being downloadable from the extras thing now, it adds to the frustration that i've paid but can't listen.
  2. hahaha. a Healthy Colon produces little to no flatulence. ahh.
  3. I have to say I didn't like this album much at first. M&A is still their most solid album to me. But this one does grow on you after awhile. I don't think anyone who's expecting a specific sound from them is bound to be all that pleased with this album, but its got its merits.
  4. I got the CD/Shirt combo. Kind of expensive to ship over to Canada, but hey. A new Wilco CD doesn't come out all that often.
  5. I already posted this in another thread, but in On & On & On, when Jeff sang 'I will live, and you will live in me', I went 'wow'. That whole song is definitely a favourite.
  6. Favourite song for me was definitely On & On & On. "I will live, and you will live in me".. Ah, so beautiful.
  7. Reaaaally like Hate it Here. Thaaat's my Wilco.
  8. I don't know about Shake it Off. I never really cared much for any of the live versions. This version, ah, I don't know. It doesn't fit in with the beautiful smooth rock that preceeds it by the other songs. and it's not really, you know, rocking rock. It slows itself down quite a bit. I don't really know what i'm saying. Maybe it's gotta grow on me.
  9. Mmmm. Up to Impossible Germany too. Much love to that beautiful sound!
  10. Almost done my first listen. I don't know. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's good. Very decent album. But i'm just not getting the same great feel as Good News, where as soon as I started listening to it, I couldn't stop 'til the end. Eh. Maybe it's true, the album has to grow on ya. We'll see soo enough!
  11. I'm so very happy this song made the cut. I was one of the few supporters, and now, huzzah! Much beer shall be drank in celebration. Much beer would've been drunk anyway, since it's reading week, but now it's in celebration.
  12. Sorry if this had been posted before, i've never seen it until now This is Jeff entertainingly explainin' his version of the 'Attack', on a video posted sometime last week.
  13. Maybe my problem is that I kept clicking on the same two songs - When I tried downloading ELT first, it suddenly started working. Huzzah!
  14. Everytime I click on a song in the quicktime window, it opens the browser - weird thing is, the address is e:/extras/extras.mov in the browser - so I doubt it's supposed to read itself.. twice. Argh. It's a little frustrating
  15. I'm having the same problem. I thought it was IE7 at first, and FireFox did the same thing.. I guess it must be the server?
  16. You know what's kind of funny? Until a second ago, I was sure this was a broadcast from a show September 30th (9:30) until realizing that that's the club's name.. The 'Live from..' also clued me in. haha.
  17. Wow. Second time I hear Impossible Germany (the other was live). Muchos er.. Love.
  18. I was at a Broken Social Scene show this summer for Bluesfest, and for reasons I (then) didn't really comprehend, the singer had everyone yell out "COLEXICO" a whole bunch of times. I didn't know why I was doing it, but man, it was a blast to have everyone yell out the same random shit. Later I found out it was because they (Colexico) were playing at the same time on a different stage. Point is, i've never seen anyone repeat anything out of pity. It's to have fun. Someone could yell out "Banana!", and i'd still repeat it as loudly as I could. And twice that loud if Jeff Tweedy says "Ban
  19. Sorry for your loss, Jeff & Susan. I hope the positives that she brought you in life allow you to celebrate it, as opposed to mourning her death. -Alex
