That's awesome they did that. I saw the 2 piece version earlier this year at a tiny bar in Athens, OH. Those guys have a huge sound with just 2 of em.

I'm really excited for this, mostly because Brian Eno produced it. I think since Parachutes, each of their following albums have dropped off some. Hopefully Eno will help them branch out and try new things. The last album was good for about one listen, don't think I've touched it since. Coldplay also says Anyone else lookin forward to this?

For whatever this is worth: Joe Lunardi just came out with his picks and we have eerily similar brackets, including the same Final Four.

Even if you don't know the policy, just don't be stupid about it and you should be fine. No flash (and if you are more than like 15 feet back, the flash isn't going to help you anyway). And if you do have a SLR with interchangeable lenses, just stick the body and a small 50mm lens in your coat pocket.

I love it when everyone (fans, media, etc) listens to a new record at the same time. You go in to listening to it with a completely fresh mind and open ears. This needs to happen more often. In Rainbows was such a cool experience because everyone was listening to it at the same time and you could then discuss the album as a whole. I hate when a few tracks will show up on blogs, then a few more, then the album leaks. This is how it should happen- the whole thing comes out at the same time for everyone. Kudos to the band.

I think Dickie V and Mike Patrick are your main culprits there. But I'm sure Billy Packer will pick up where they left off when CBS coverage begins. He slobbers over anything ACC related. As much hype as Hansbrough has gotten, he deserves it all. He is the heart and soul of that team. Great player.

I agree with that. I think O'Rourke adds a lot. And on a side note, I'd love to hear his mix of SBS.

After seeing Wilco live with Nels a handful of times, I can't imagine shows being better off without him. Just listen to Kicking Television and how much he adds to songs like Handshake Drugs, Company in My Back, Ashes of American Flags. I can understand some people wanting older lineups for some of the stuff from the mid to late 90s, but man....I feel like the live shows would lack a lot without his treatment of Wilco songs of the 2000s. I remember watching the live performances on the IATTBYH DVD with the 4 piece lineup and it just felt kinda lifeless compared to their live sound now. Not
