  1. I don't get many things right the first time In fact, I am told that a lot Now I know all the wrong turns, the stumbles and falls Brought me here And where was I before the day That I first saw your lovely face? Now I see it everyday And I know That I am I am I am The luckiest What if Id been born fifty years before you In a house on a street where you lived? Maybe Id be outside as you passed on your bike Would I know? And in a white sea of eyes I see one pair that I recognize And I know That I am I am I am The luckiest I love you more than I have ever found a way to say to you

  4. I am completely in love with The Dodos' new album, Visiter. Their last effort was tremendous as well. It is just a completely different sound compared to most things I hear. They are often tagged as "psych-folk-pop." Anyone else diggin The Dodos?

    SNL!

I agree Walken was a good choice, but they should have also played You Are My Face or just went back and played something older. I'm The Man Who Loves You (even though I know a ton of people on this board are sick of it) would have been great with horns- that song would no doubt hook people who don't know Wilco. When The Shins were on, they played a new song, and then played New Slang from their first record. I think Wilco should have followed the new song-old song model.
  18. Heck of a show. The opener, Colin Stetson, also played with Arcade Fire on sax and french horn. So, 6 players on stage. They played 2 shows at the 450 seat Opera House in Nelsonville, because the demand was so high. Pretty cool of them to do that. Each set was around 7 songs I think. I made it to the 2nd show, where they played David Bowie's Heroes, John Lennon's Gimme Some Truth, an old Sam Cook song, Rebellion (Lies), Wake Up, Neighborhood #2, and Antichrist Television Blues. It was a great show and they seemed more than happy to be there and everyone had a hell of a time. I'll post
