Yes... these shows are awesome, especially the Brooklyn one. It's really cool to listen to one of Wilco's biggest ever headlining shows (I'm not sure if Keyspan Park fits more than UIC Pavilion... it's probably close).

I've been away, and I logged on to my computer today to find that the DC show download was no longer available, before I was able to download it... was anyone able to download it today or is it gone forever? If it's gone, could someone possibly help me in getting the show? Thanks in advance.

The end of Impossible Germany out of those, but for the whole album, I'd choose On and On and On. It's just so intense, and it keeps building and building, and right when you think it's going to explode, everybody drops out. That's why I'd pick it for heaviest.

I'm game, that sounds awesome! I don't have very much live Wilco outside of KT and the bonus tracks, so this would help me out a lot. I do have 10-29-2002 that I could possibly up sometime, its a SBD.

If you heard anything, you'd know that nothing was Alex's fault. His son got up onstage, the police went at him, and Alex tried to defend his song and got beat. The police handled it horribly.

The version on IATTBYH is amazing. I like that version a lot better than studio, they're just rocking it out.

I don't hear this song get talked about a lot, but its my currently my favorite Wilco song. It's just so catchy and I love the lyrics. I don't know what it is about this song, but i've been listening to it constantly. Same thing with ELT, another song that I love, but don't hear get talked about. ELT has awesome lyrics too. The "Every Little Thing, Every Little Thing, Every Little Thing is gonna tear you apart" gets me every time.

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band - Kitty's Back or Rosalita Grateful Dead - Box Of Rain or Eyes Of The World would be amazing, and pretty realistic covers, was surprised they didn't cover any Dead when they were playing after Ratdog The Police - So Lonely Ramones - Pet Sematary

Another couple ideas are Down By The River and Cowgirl In The Sand by Neil Young. I still think it'd be awesome to cover The Who (Glenn would go nuts) and the Dead (some of Wilco's stuff reminds me of the Dead, mostly from the new album - Hate It Here, You Are My Face)

Sky Blue Sky is so far my favorite album of the year, and I recommend it to everybody, and it will probably stay my #1 unless Radiohead's album is amazing or Dave Matthews Band pulls out all the stops and drops an incredible one. Rush - Snakes and Arrows and Modest Mouse - We Were Dead... are my other 2 favorite albums of the year.

He's written Ghost Rider, Masked Rider, Traveling Music, and Roadshow. Have any of you read any of them? I've read all but Masked Rider, and Ghost Rider is one of my all time favorite books. I highly recommend it for anyone. It's incredible how Neil tells his story of traveling on motorcycle as a way to get away and clear his head from the tragedies that had occurred to him in the months before the book (only kid, his teenage daughter dies in an accident, his wife dies of cancer a few months later, his best friend goes to jail). Dave Matthews Band this fall/winter (as of now) and Radiohead.

What is/are your top song(s) you want Wilco to cover? I'd really like something by the Grateful Dead, like Box Of Rain or Eyes Of The World. Other ideas of mine are This Must Be The Place (Naive Medley) by Talking Heads and Fool In The Rain or The Ocean by Zeppelin. I'd like to see some Who get covered, too, like more obscure stuff (Cut My Hair, 5:15, The Real Me - John would have to turn into a beast if they did Real Me) Hell, they should just pull a Phish and cover all of The Who's Quadrophenia.

of course Britain had the best metal bands. IMO, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest are the hands down best metal bands, although Judas Priest's stuff since the 90's haven't been very good, and Iron Maiden's last two albums have owned.

I did, they're wicked talented. Carter Beauford is a god on drums, Stefan Lessard is a very good bass player, LeRoi Moore is an awesome sax player, Boyd Tinsley is ok on violin, Butch Taylor is a pretty good keyboardist, Rashawn Ross is an amazing trumpet player, and Dave Matthews is a really good rhythm guitar player and one of the best songwriters of the 90's. Before These Crowded Streets is one of the top 5 albums of the nineties, and Under The Table And Dreaming and Crash are both fantastic records.

It's been mentioned, but YAMF is one of my favorites. I just love Gun though, when Jeff sings it high.

are you serious? Have you even watched/listened to either of them play? They are two of the most talented drummers playing right now. Their bands would definitely not be as good without either. Once Umphrey's got Kris, they got much better. They're both incredible. Listening to a live version of Two Step or Tripping Billies by Dave Matthews Band and pretty much any song by Umphrey's and you'll see what I mean.
