I'm not blaming you, but trying to show you the bigger picture instead of just a temporary fix.

So what happens once those are all built? We will have better roads and buildings and a bigger debt. What happens to all the jobs when project is done? So we borrowed trillions to keep our country growing but with no plans of paying anything back. How do we pay our debt down, how do we make money?

Just like most, its all about a political viewpoint which is not economically viable. Right now, we borrow hundreds of billions from other countries to fund our stimulis and and spending just like a credit card. We need to come up with that 800 billion stimulis now from somewhere. We will ask other countries first, even if we can con the money from them again, this cant go on forever. If we cant get money from other countries, we will print the money. Considering the size of our spending, this will cause hyper inflation causeing our dollar to completely be worthless. It is fundelment

We've been doing the same thing every time and we think it works, its all band aids and our debt just keeps getting bigger. Our debt is the real issue and we ignore it and leave it for another day. Well that day will eventually come and it will be alot worse the longer we wait and the bigger the debt gets. The sooner we start really dealing with the problem, the sooner we get back to a real economy.

If the difference isnt that big to you, I guess you can wait. Is your HD hooked up in HDMI? You can go to any Best Buy and see the quality of Blu-ray. Yeah, nothing is released in Blu-ray only.

Transformers and GI Joe was the utlimate in my childhood, especially Transformers. The movie was very disappointing in terms of being a Transformers movie that I remembered as Transformers but nonetheless had good action and was ok as a movie about robots that transformed. I dont expect much from GI Joe, but I think I have to see what they do with it.

Its just the toys I grew up with. Was it 70's that had kung fu grip?

All blu-rays are backwards compatible, so no need to restart any collection, plus most upconvert regular dvds, so you will notice a better quality from your existing collection. The reason why you dont see a big diff can be many reasons. HD on cable is all over the board and getting worse on many channels. Alot of shows are not even recorded in high resolution and just being passed through on a HD signal that is much reduced anyways. You arent really getting a good comparison. Alot of channels now are calling themselves HD but quality is really low and slightly better than the normal. C

The best thing about the new Blu-ray market is that it is bringing down the price of DVDs and DVD players. Eventually Blu-rays will be the norm, but it could take awhile but it is slowly changing. Once price comes down and more people get used to watching HD, people will consider DVDs low-res and fuzzy and pay the bit extra to move up. I am excited for this new Concert Film.

New stimulis is bad and so is the new Bank Rescue Plan. Stock market is showing it. We have no real plans that is viable. We are making things worse and piling mistake after mistake. Sorry but true, I just hope our govt wakes up sooner than later.

Why would anyone buy anything from a band they never heard of? If this is shot in HD, it will be released on Blu-ray no question about it. No reason to shoot in HD if it wasnt going to be released in HD. DVD is not HD. It will be released in 2 versions. For those that dont have the latest tech can buy the DVD. And BTW, Blu-ray blows away the quality of DVD by alot, total difference.

Just went to Target and saw GI Joe figures for sale with exact same packaging and everything from when I used to collect as a kid growing up. Nice, brings back some fun memories. No doubt they are trying to bring it back bigtime with the new movie coming out. Probably see another cartoon series soon. Not so sure what to think of the movie because I usally dont get into all these old classics being remade into something very different. But I do like seeing the figures back with identical packaging. Makes me want to collect them again and be a kid. Anyways I bought Snake Eyes to give as

I am in Chicago and have seen Cubs tickets prices rise every year and tickets selling out faster every year, even with horrible seasons. I wonder with this economy, if this could still hold up. Should be interesting to see how Cubs ticket sales will be this year. I know for the first time, I wont be spending money in Feb to buy up as many tickets as I can. I may go to a game if my budget allows when the time comes. hoping scalpers will get screwed this year.

I still think quality work is quality work and it cost money and time. Anyone can do something fast and cheap, but thats what it will be. You can stand out of the crowd by your own individual quality. I can do anything. Fast, cheap, and good. But you can only pick 2 of the 3.

I dont know if I am going to this one, but I have to say having been to 2 previous Bonnaroos, they are incredible and have the best sound ever. The best I ever heard Wilco sound was Bonnaroo 2 years ago. Bonnaroo is an experience you have to do.
