the old city is pretty close to the tenn. theater and will definitely have bars open until 2 i would think. i also agree that staying downtown is the best option. looking forward to the show.

i like cutler but he should have let his agent do the bitching and appear at least to be above the controversy. instead, he looks like a baby (to be kind) or just a complete douchebag regardless of whether he had the right to be pissed at the beginning or not.

you are correct, sir.

any team with 4 vanderbilt commodores is unbeatable.

obama's support for the continued enforcement of long-standing statutory penalties for willful copyright infringement is the death knell for hope and change in america. edit:

my eyes do appear to be more open than before i read the thread. we really are screwed if we let them get away with even 25% of what we understand may not exist.

Jon Stewart destroys Mad Money's Jim Cramer
rareair replied to Sir Stewart's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
i guess he thought his sad mea culpa would put this behind him, which appears to be in the Cramer playbook for success. i do not see how even his supporters (do they still exist?) could explain away last night's performance. -

Top 3 most underwhelming bands/artists you've ever seen
rareair replied to Mrs. Peel's topic in Someone Else's Song
modest mouse (at the ryman) - good acoustics do not help if you scream every song as loud as you can. awful show. band of horses opened and were great. wu tang clan - followed rage against the machine. their stage show made gbv seem sober. trainwreck. the replacements - opened for tom petty (i think during full moon fever tour). played one or two songs, told nashville to fuck off and left the stage. tom petty did end up playing for almost 4 hours. -
i tend to agree. but could he really be a closer (which was the discussion on mlb tv the other night)?

i understand the sentiment. i just do not listen to radio. at all. if i did, i would want to hear m. ward, no doubt.
-
let it bleed. very hard choice.
-
i think the idea that modern radio still shapes who will be remembered in years to come is antiquated. and m ward will be remembered by me as having the best body of work from 2000-2010 of any singer/songwriter.

auto-ranking has not been a good experience for me. you would be better off (imo) getting a friend to draft for you. signed, 2007 VC Fantasy Baseball Champion of the World.

i thought you were pushing a vc edible album chart, which i fully support.
