  1. Dave Matthews Band cover FTW?!
  2. it's not exactly what he plays...probably not even close, but it sounds pretty good. the last chord isn't right at all. any help there would be great.
  3. i play something like this for the ending: 0e|-5--3---5--3-----------------| 0A|-7--4---7--4-----------------| F#|-6--5---6--5-----------------| 0D|-7--x---7--x-----------------| 0A|-------------------------------| 0D|-----------------0(let ring)--| 0E|-7--5--3---7--5--3-------------| 0A|-9--7--4---9--7--4-------------| F#|-8--6--5---8--6--5-------------| 0D|-9--7--x---9--7--x-------------| 0A|----------------------------------| 0D|----------------------0 (let ring)|
  4. it doesn't kill me, but when jeff does the "ummmm" part on i'm a wheel...i find that very endearing for some reason.
  5. i thought they were curtailing that approach to, like the article says, shut down service to those downloading.
  6. you never learned how to have fun did you?
  7. i think a lot of folks have. the band sounds great, but the whole time i was listening i was thinking "what are they going to do that is going to be different enough for them not to burn out and want to quit in a year or two?"
  8. maybe you've just moved on. it tends to happen.
  9. they sound GREAT. wow....i love that Trey is has re-committed himself to learning his parts. And i'm only on Fluffhead! awesome. I was luke warm about their return until a few days ago. They're on fire for sure.
  10. funny story there...Tom Waits referred to it as the Rolling Blunder Review. Love that guy.
  11. he was in Red House Painters wasn't he? Have You Forgotten is an excellent song. Have You Forgotten
  12. are you an AC fan in general? their stuff is pretty tough to "get into", i guess you could say. took me almost a year of listening, then putting it down in disgust, then picking it up 4 months later and giving it another shot.
  13. the newest album just gets better with each listen. they really did an almost perfect job on this thing.
  14. they gave new springsteen 5 stars too...so, let's all get our grain of salt ready.
  15. no it's not all from the For Emma stuff he did at the cabin. the first song, Blood Bank was recorded in 2006/2007 with the For Emma stuff, but he said in an interview that he felt it didn't fit with the rest of the record. As for the other 3 songs, they were recorded between 2007 and 2008 at a few different times. the new Animal Collective is excellent. almost perfect record (minus Also Frightened).
  16. considering it is a for emma castaway and some other random stuff he was working on, it really shouldn't be.
