  1. Yeah, to each his own I guess.. But if you think YHF was experimental and "going out on a limb", just bring some avant-garde guitar in there, and that's about as experimental as it gets.. You know Jeff wouldn't let it get too carried away though. But just listening to the Nels Cline singers, Nels really holds back when he's playing with Wilco.
  2. I lived on Burbank Blvd. in Sherman Oaks for a year. Yeah, there are a few things to do in the Valley like the Galleria, but all of the excitement is over the hill, especially in Hollywood. We used to take Mulholland drive (beautiful drive) into Hollywood, and just drive down Sunset Blvd.. You'll always find something to do there.
  3. Yeah, just imagine if they let Nels go all out.. Not hold anything back... Just listen the The Nels Cline Singers, and you will know what I mean..
  4. Well I'd rather listen to the Dan Band version of Total Eclipse... "I fucking need you more, then eva!"
  5. Shake It Off is one of the weaker songs on the album, but it is by no means a terrible song.. You gotta love the guitar riff during the chorus (although it does get a little repetitive) and Glen sure does go off on the song.
  6. Me too, I've gotta have it strong.. I often find myself pouring out fresh pots of coffee at work because it's not strong enough for me.. Yeah I'm a dick, but hey everyone still drinks it.
  7. Damnit, if only this concert wasn't 1,967 miles away and a 1 day 6 hour drive, I'd be there!
  8. Yeah, sometimes I mispell words and they look like made up words.. I killed a lot of brain cells in college.
  9. Actually, Burger King coffee is by far my favorite out of the shitty fast food coffee's.. But McDonald's is a close second.
  10. Very contagious.. fixed it smarty pants..
  11. Coffee is black gold to me.. Seriously, I love it almost as much as beer. I drink it in the morning and at night. I'm a fiend..... Starbucks all the way. Last month, I spent nearly a hundred dollars there.. Yikes..
  12. I like it.. It's fun, cheesy, and it rocks.. It reminds me of the old Weezer (Undone, Buddy Holly)
  13. Blasphemy! But I guess opinions are like butts etc. etc... I'm just a huge fan of jazz/avante-garde guitar, and Nels really added that to the band. To me, he really completed Wilco and right now they have the perfect line-up.
  14. Awesome! Thank you solace. This will provide great entertainment for my get together tonight.
  15. I know, I'm so desperate I went to the Clemson Spring game.. It was actually kind of fun. Da'Quan Bowers is a f'n beast. Remember that name people. He will be talked about a lot.
  16. That's why I moved... No really, I'm looking forward to Bon Iver... Just listen to his record a few times, you'll fall in love with it.
  17. $3.69 - Greenville South Carolina... Yeah that's low compare to a lot of these posts, but I still need my lube when I go to the gas station.
  18. Well, like Louis Black said, it's time for a dead president. I think a dead president would scare away the terrorists for sure.
  19. Well he did experience a lot of trauma when he was a POW.. I've always wondered if that has f'd him up some.
  20. Hurry up and get here college football season!!
  21. Yeah, it's probably my least favorite song on the album. It's funny because when the record first came out, it was my favorite song. But I guess the chorus just got old after a while.. But it's still a great song.
  22. Ok, that's the greastest music video I have ever seen. Hilarious. Light saber drum sticks!
  23. Me too.. Although that's probably just Wishful Thinking.
