Man, that would be hilarious! My band once attempted to cover "Humpty Dance" by Digital Underground.. We were actually playing a pretty big, high profile gig so I don't know what we were were thinking (alcohol had a lot to do with it).. At the part where he says "Hey Fat Girl! C'mere, are you ticklish!?", our singer pointed to the crowd.. Well, that pissed off a group of girls, and it was all downhill from there.. One of the funniest moments of my life.. I had trouble finishing the show from laughing so damn hard..

I was ecstatic when they played Cali Stars in Charlotte last year.. One of my fav's, up there with She's a Jar.. She's a Jar Medley??? Never heard that! Is their a known recording of it anywhere? Sounds intriguing..

I did my searching, and I didn't see a Star Wars thread, but forgive me if I missed a thread buried deep somewhere in VC.. Great news everyone. http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/news/...,1,468234.story Now I can get my Star Wars fix once again.

Happy Birthday Alissa! My youngest just turned three last month. Aren't kids grand..

I just like the "Any ideas would be greatly appreciated... THANKS!".. Sarcastic humor - my favorite kind.

My favorite reply to the second locked thread by ction: Great stuff!

Exactly. And that's why I love Trey and Matt. They see both sides. They sort of give you an inside perspective on issues and make you say "wow, I never thought about it that way.. ".. I used to hate South Park because I thought it was just all toilet humor and bad taste, but when you watch it enough, you see both sides of many important issues affecting the world, and it has helped me construct a lot of my views.

Thank you. And I thought I was the only Conservative on the board! But I really wouldn't call myself hardcore conservative, I just try and see both sides of the story and then make my own decision, and those decisions lean more toward the right.. But that being said, it's true (and I think Lammycat mentioned this) that this country has become so partisan, and people lose focus on what's really right or wrong.. The article talks about how Americans are unhappy. We are unhappy because we expect everything and expect to do nothing to get it. What will you do for me next? I need this. I need that.

Yeah, there are some things in the article that are dressed up and inaccurate, but I think the point the author is trying to make is basically; so many people bad mouth this country and really are just spoiled brats when they really don't realize how good they have it.

Cool. Gotta love the details. So my wife and I requested "She's A Jar" on that Request A Song form from the Wilcoworld main page. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll play it.

Ah, thanks for that.. Edited..

Paraphrased from an original article posted here: http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article....RTICLE_ID=53028 but you'll get the picture.

Thats good.. Just wasn't sure because I've never been to the PAC. (I know, pretty sad when I've lived in Charleston for four years). Thanks.

Were you on the very front row? Like Pit front row? That's where I am.. I know some places, the stage is high so front row isn't really a good thing.. How is the view from there? If you were indeed on the very front row..

I don't smoke enough herb to understand this show.. I just can't stop watching it.

From my experience, the RAT sounds awesome with an acoustic. If you turn the distortion knob halfway or more, it will break up nicely, a lot like the distorted version of Kamera.. But like beenthere said, try out a few of them. But the RAT would definitely be my first choice.

Man, I'd give my left cajone to see some of the shows you people have seen.. And I thought my 1997 Wilco show was rare..

It has probably already been sold, but have you tried http://forums.viachicago.org/index.php?sho...arleston+ticket No replies on it, so maybe it's still available..

Ahh.. I see now. Thanks for the clarification. One thing that drives me nuts about that show is when they cut to commercial (and there is an excessive amount of commercials), they always find the worst place to do it.. It's almost like the writers are deliberately trying to piss the viewer off.. Yeah, I guess they are called "cliffhangers" or what have you, but just when the show is getting good and I'm glued to the TV.. the music gets louder and more intense.. and BAM.... commercial..... And when the commercials are over, the show resumes at a whole new scene, and there really wasn't

I think the strangest part last night was the dude that went to Walt's room (I'm pretty sure it was Walt's room) to find money.. And what was the point of the vacuum cleaner? That part had me asking wtf...

Wilco twice.. Yeah, I'm a light-weight.. But the first time I saw them was way back in 97.. They were part of a small festival in my home town of Greenville, SC. They blew everyone else off the stage.. The next time was in Charlotte last year. But I will be seeing them again in a few weeks in Charleston.

Indeed.. It amazes me how people can be so reckless and irresponsible with their bodies.. That's why I originally stated, maybe he had a death wish.. Yeah, I drink, smoke, but I certainly know better than to go and swallow and hand full of pills and hope for the best.. Like Puddy said earlier,
