Well for me, when the ticketmaster pre-sale tickets went on sale, I didn't have much luck the first day. I was getting balcony, row v, etc.. So I decided to wait until the next day to see if my luck would change. The next day, I had the same luck.. So just when I was about to give up and wait for the public sale, I refreshed the site one more time before I left work and the PIT row AA tickets popped up... I guess it was just a matter of patience and luck.. But I took a similar approach for the Charlotte show in June, and scored 2nd row seats, but they were far to the right of the stage.

I got them during the ticketmaster presale.. Front row (PIT row AA), between Jeff and Nels.. I'm excited to be that close, but my wife is a little nervous to be that close to Jeff.. I'm definitely stoked.. It's going to be a loooooong four weeks.

YHF - Wilco Sky Blue Sky - Wilco Combat Rock - The Clash You'd Prefer An Astronaut - Hum The Blue Album - Weezer Pinkerton - Weezer Doolitle - Pixies Turn On Your Bright Lights - Interpol White Album - The Beatles Are You Experienced - Jimi Hendrix

I agree.. I have actually said something similar to that about Wilco.. "Even their worst songs are much better than a lot of bands best songs"

My Dad is a real football buff, and he has some interesting points about the game.. He's picking The Giants to win and here's why: Hmm.. He could be on to something, but I'm still picking the Pats.. Although I don't know if they can beat the spread.
-
Yep, although I think Maladriot was a little less "half ass" than the Green album was, it's still nothing compared to Blue and Pinkerton. I actually enjoyed the Green album when it first came out.. I guess because I was just kidding myself.. It was hard to accept that Weezer had gone sour..
-
Damn.. I don't know how I missed that one.. I really don't.. Must have been kept kind of quiet?
-
Ah, so I was talking out of my ass indeed.. The spread thing has always confused me (sorry.. smoked a little too much in college).. But thanks for clearing it up for me.
-
Wow.. That's a huge spread.. Hmm.. maybe there is some kind of hidden agenda here? Do the bookies in Vegas know something we don't? Maybe they know the pats aren't going to meet that spread, so they will get more money? Or maybe I'm just talking out of my ass..

I'm sure it was.. C'mon Jeff, we'd love to have you back.. We'll make sure you feel welcome.. *sorry, but everytime I have posted something like that on VC, my dream came true...*.. It came true with the Charleston show coming up on Feb 29th.. haha

Man, I envy all of you.. I would love to see a solo show and would be more than willing to fork out the $100, but I'm all the way down here in South Carolina and Chicago would be quite a haul for me. I wonder what the chances are of him doing a solo show in the South?

Just watched ACL ... damn I want a Jazzmaster!

I've never been a fan of SG's either.. Not because of the way they look, but because I don't like the way the neck feels. . It's just too round or something. I"m more of a strat man with the thinner neck. . I would LOVE a Jazzmaster.. Who wouldn't? I've played a lot of guitars in my day, but haven't played one. Although I hear they are very similar to a Jaguar, and I have played one of those.. Very nice axe. -
was the Death Star attack an inside job?

I almost forgot about this "heavy" version of Someone Else's Song
-
Ah, just empty your temp internet files and cookies when your done watching, and you'll be fine.. I work in IT, and "big bother" really doesn't pay attention to that stuff anyway.. Unless you work at a high profile government office or something and the site would be blocked anyway.. You have to see it just for the Joe Namath interview.. Hilarious.. He's trashed.. Although it's on Youtube as well..
-
I can just picture them head banging, devil horn's in the air during the intro to Gun.
-
Man I'd love to tip a few with them.. I would tell them the story of when I saw them way back in 97 in front of a crowd of maybe 50 or so and they played with the same heart and soul as they would for a crowd of thousands..
-
My wife and I are hoping we can meet them this time in Charleston.. When we saw then in Charlotte, I was just in complete "awe" and just wasn't in any state to wait by the bus.. But this time, we really want to meet them and I hope we get to.
-
I'm not affraid to admit my love for the heavy stuff too.. Man, White Zombie was awesome in their day.. Love Rage of course (especially their first album), and old Metallica.. No need to even comment on them.. Legends... If you have a chance, check out the band "Cave In".. Their album "Jupitor" is just brilliant.. It's not all completely heavy.. Sort of Alternative/Hardcore or something.. Great band..

Yeah, probably wouldn't have them sign it either. But I would have something else handy for them to sign like the cover of SBS.

I find it hard to believe that I wrote this

Very cool! I once had one of my songs covered by a highschool garage band, and that actually felt pretty damn good. So I can imagine how great you are feeling. -
Football can be so unpredictable, but I really think The Pats have this one in the bag. They are literally "the perfect team" this year and they will validate that with the perfect season. But I do think The Giants will give them a heck of a challenge. It's just the simple fact that the Patriots have so many options (for example, when Brady was off last weekend, they ran the ball and made it look easy).. But hell, we may be talking about this after the game how the Giants stunned the patriots to pull off the win. So we'll see, but my vote is definitely for The Patriots. Which happens to

Yeah, I wouldnt bring the zoom lense or anything like that.. Just the smaller part that can fit in my wife's purse.. Defintely not bringing the full rig and no flash.

The PAC says on their site that they do allow camera's/video if the performer allows it. So I guess I can bring my 35mm, just no flash.
