It's been a long time since I have tried ordering tickets over the phone but I used to do it quite a bit. Try calling in about 8 minutes before the onsale...ask what is going on sale this weekend...let them run through a bunch of stuff...ask them questions then as its a min or two before 10 a.m. ..."O yea, what about Jeff Tweedy dates" they bring them up and you score. http://www.ticketmaster.com/h/states/wdc.html Contact Us Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington DC Fan Support Pages Charge-by-Phone 202-397-SEAT (7328) 410-547-SEAT (7328) 800-551-SEAT (7328) Good luck!

My fiances sister just forward this to us. Her ex husband played in a band with this guy in high school. It looks like Glenn was involved at some time, my guess is @ the U of KY based on this guy, Paul Kopasz, and Glenn both attending school there. Anyone know anything? http://paulkmovie.com/index.html

I've listened to it once, it sounds like the tracks the Numero Group were spinning Friday and Saturday evening...groovy fun

What do you say when so many things have already been said? Solid Sound was very well thought out. The local people, businesses and the event staff were very nice and helpful. North Adams, The Berkshires and Mass Moca was the perfect atmosphere and the weather was great. It was amazing running into and meeting so many friends and the music was the icing on the cake! Thank you to Wilco and all the bands for taking the time to “hang out” and have a good time with your fans. Hope to see you all next year!

Wilco - Solid Sound Festival 08/14/10 North Adams, MA
ditty replied to u2roolz's topic in After The Show
Just a few show notes to add: Say You Miss Me was sound checked Broken Arrow was on the printed set list as the first encore song, but not played and Red Eyed Blue / I Got You was on the printed set list between Heavy Metal Drummer and Hoodoo Voodoo but not played These were likely skipped due to an 11 p.m. curfew as the show ended right at 11 p.m. Thanks to my fiance Kathy for getting a set list -
He wore his Nudie Suite red jacket, shirt underneath and black jeans

http://wilco.kungfustore.com/ All I remember seeing was the "Frank" Caballeros Tee, and with a purchase of the Show Poster a free Summer 09 Tour Program, I know there was more but nothing that "stuck out". I'm personally hoping for a Solid Sound shirt!

Jeff said he stopped singing because he was afraid a bird might poop in his mouth. He then went on to say that "back in the day, it was a privilege to get pooped on, he had even had roadies poop in his mouth" Jeff gave Glenn a hard time for breaking his toe and gave two scenarios: It happened during a road rage incident where Glenn kicked someones butt or he broke it during toddler gymnastics, you decide he's just reporting. Jeff then went on to say something embarrassing about himself which was his recent experience with Zumba. He even did a very small jig for us.

http://www.southbendtribune.com/article/20100730/INTHEBEND/100739925 Wilco intense, dynamic at Coveleski CONCERT Review By ANDREW S. HUGHES Tribune Staff Writer SOUTH BEND — Wilco and Yo La Tengo gave the city something it rarely sees Friday night at Coveleski Stadium: a concert by two bands still in their creative prime. And both of them challenged and thrilled the moderate-size audience at the baseball park. Yo La Tengo — Ira Kaplan on guitar and keyboard, James McNew on bass, and Georgia Hubley on drums — opened the concert with an hour-long set of music that veered wildly from brisk,

Thank you everyone for your congrats. The VC community is a great place. Kevin, thank you for picking me early on...just as you were able to enjoy the rest of the show after playing with Jeff, I was able to settle a bit after proposing to Kathy.

Just called the Stadium, for those interested they said the stage will be in the outfield but close to 2nd base.
